There is no way this politically motivated right? Sort of a double standard right, investigte Trump for trying to use his power to get elected, and now they are using there power to investigate Trump to try and not get him elected? Can anyone say with a straight face this is not 100% politically motivated? It’s like the Democrats know the message the economy sucks is not working so let’s shift and attack Trump some where else.

Can you blame the Dems? It's like leaving cookies out on the table and then blaming a kid for eating them. Trump puts all this out there. If he'd STFU and do his job and not, like, steal shitloads of money from the govt, then none of this would be happening.

Where is the proof he is stealing?

This is some powerful both sidesing. Trump abusing his power to utilize foreign government's as a tool for the election to his own benefit is somehow the same as investigating this corruption?

Also please keep in mind that Trump has dipped his balls into a litany of scandals and exacerbated multiple nationals crises, so try not to be shocked when the Dems criticize him for more than one aspect of his job in 2020.

All of this steering of federal govt business through his properties. This latest one in Scotland is going to bring him down.
From what I read the hotel was the lowest rate in the area. Just because Trumps family owns it, why does it matter if they stayed there. It would be one thing if they stayed there and paid a higher rate compared to other hotels. As long as the rates are competitive who cares where people stay?

Lets see what they find. To me this screams witch hunt. I am all for checks and balances, but to tweet this out and make it a news story to me says this is a political witch hunt. I am sure this is something they could have looked at confidentially and behind close doors.

Of course it matters. In what world all of a sudden is it alright for a member of the government to steer government dollars to their business?

This has never been alright. This is why every POTUS before Trump divested themselves 100% from their businesses.

But not this guy, charging rent for his own protection at his resorts to the tune of well over $100 million.

6.2 Million Individuals Off Food Stamps Under Trump

The most recent USDA data shows that 6,268,285 individuals discontinued their participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)— the program in charge of food stamps— since February 2017 when Trump finished his first month as president.

Individual and household food stamp participation has consistently declined since 2013 back when the Obama administration was in power and enrollment in the program reached its highest point in U.S. history.

After 2013, SNAP enrollment plunged once state legislatures passed laws requiring food stamp recipients to work, attend school, volunteer, or participate in job training for at least 20 hours per week to receive benefits.

Food stamp participation plummeted even further once President Trump took office, as 6.2 million individuals and 2.7 million households dropped out of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) since his first full month in office.

There are currently 36,029,506 individuals and 18,230,968 households enrolled in the food stamp program, but USDA officials said those numbers are “preliminary” due to the 2018 government shutdown, which affected food stamp administration at the beginning of 2019.

Trump has stated that he wants to curb the nation’s dependency on food stamps and wants those coming into the country to be self-sufficient.

The president told Breitbart News in an Oval Office interview that he does not want any immigrants coming into the U.S. to be dependent on welfare programs.

“I don’t want to have anyone coming in that’s on welfare,” Trump told Breitbart News in March.

The Trump administration also recently released several policies that would close loopholes for those taking advantage of the nation’s food stamp program.

The USDA issued a proposal in July that would close a “loophole” allowing 3.1 million people who already receive benefits from a non-cash welfare program to receive food stamps through SNAP.

The Trump administration also released a “public charge rule” last month which would deny green cards to immigrants or make it harder for them to obtain them if they have a history of using welfare benefits such as food stamps.

What a nice way to say millions have been kicked off food assistance.

All those free-loading children.

"The Trump administration also released a “public charge rule” last month which would deny green cards to immigrants or make it harder for them to obtain them if they have a history of using welfare benefits such as food stamps."

And no one is surprised.

Why?

Dude is up to his neck in self-exacerbated scandals.

And you act like he is some victim of persecution when each and every major investigation so far has revealed breathtaking irregularities.

I am not a Trump supporter, in a perfect world the Republicans would run someone different. I am really interested in who the Democrats nominate. I would love to have an option to vote for someone outside of Trump. My main concern is not keeping the White House but making sure you keep you keep the Senate conservative. The worst thing IMO is putting someone like warren or sanders in office with a Democrat’s controlled house and senate. Then all of a sudden socialism/green deal could happen in the US. That would be worse then anything Trump can say or do.
Of the Dems, who do you prefer?

I always felt Todd got a raw deal. He's just a typical Alaskan guy. Works on the Slope half the year. Fishes to feed his family. Mushes in the big sled races. Thinks perhaps Alaska is better off as an independent nation. I doubt he enjoyed much the national spotlight.

I hate to see such a long marriage break up. Sarah Palin. She sure fooled me. I predicted she'd be selected as the GOP VP nominee back in March of 2008. She seemed perfect: Young woman with a history of fighting corruption. Very camera friendly and outspoken like McCain. Was popular in Alaska and did well in the televised interviews I had seen while she was governor.

She gave one of the finest convention speeches of all time. Knocked it out of the park. And then she went nuts...

So, what do you conservatives think about Palin all these years later? @CleveRocks @cavsfan1985 @Huber.

Sarah Palin’s Husband Files for Divorce After 31 years: Report

Todd Palin appears to have filed for divorce from former Alaska governor and one-time vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, his wife of 31 years.

In a document filed Friday in Anchorage Superior Court, Todd Palin, 55, asked to dissolve the marriage, citing an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”

The divorce filing uses initials rather than full names, but identifies the couple’s marriage date and the birth date of their only child who is a minor, Trig Palin. The filing asks for joint legal custody of the child.

Anchorage attorney Kimberlee Colbo is representing Todd Palin in the divorce. In a filing, Colbo said she would ask the court to designate the divorce confidential as it moves forward.

Colbo did not immediately respond Monday to a request for comment from Todd Palin. Sarah Palin, 55, was elected governor of Alaska in 2006.

The Palin family rocketed to national prominence in 2008 when Republican presidential nominee John McCain chose Palin as his vice-presidential candidate, making them household names and focusing the country’s attention on their hometown of Wasilla.

The marriage of Sarah and Todd, a commercial fisherman, snowmachine racer and oil field worker, was frequently on display in TV interviews, reality shows, books and other media appearances.

Palin resigned as governor in 2009.

Since leaving office, Sarah Palin has kept a low profile in Alaska politics, while maintaining a national profile through her books, speaking engagements and social media presence. The divorce filing was first reported by Anchorage blogger Craig Medred.
