A Mitchell highlight video from last night:

Hate when the ball just crosses half court and he starts clapping his hands for the ball. One it’s insulting to your teammates that you think they can’t do anything without you having the ball in your hands and two it stops the offense. Let the ball move around and come back to you naturally. I’m sure whoever dribbling gets taken out of their game as well when they’re looking one way, about to go that way, but the star player is demanding the ball.

Crazy if you’re think he’s showing up in playoffs. It’s nothing personal he’s just not that good
He's been great in the playoffs pretty much every single year of his career, except his 1st season in Cleveland and maybe the year before. Do you have any data to back up your claim?

This surprised me. I thought his dad was an MLB exec?

He was, but he lived with his mom. His mom was a teacher at a private school that allowed Mitchell to go to that school Didnt hurt he was a top athlete too, especially baseball.

There might be a bit of exaggeration, as he wasnt poor, he was just very middle class in a very wealthy neigborhood.

I think it was more of middle class kid in a wealthy neighborhood. Sure he could have spent 5 dollars at Wendy's, but probably tighter going to that posh pizza place for 30 bucks every day. Or he mentioned his sister could go shopping with friends but only get one shirt when her friends were buying hundreds of dollars of stuff on the regular.

Donovan on the mic is pretty interesting. A leader all the way.
