just bought it because I buy Cavs stuff on sight out here. Overjoyed I found a flatbill snap back at Dicks a few years back. Not sure what that was doing out here.
 
As fantastic as Mitchell is, it is fair to wonder if Mitchell is really primed for playoff success. At the end of the day, he is 6-foot-3 and he often takes a beating in the postseason

My issue is he doesn't create for others. He gets so much attention, why can't he capitalize?

The really "good" games where they win he has 8 assists or more

Yeah, it's hard to believe sometimes that winning is his ultimate goal, I realize all these guys have egos, but how many times do you have to fail betting on yourself to score every point to realize it doesn't work in the playoffs?

It's so often we see like a great half where the bigs are in the game and then second half the guards go "alright time to get mine". I know it's more nuanced than that and defenses changed, but it happens so often.
 
You guys do realize we are in the Iverson universe with Donovan...

I don't question his desire to win... Just not sure he knows how to with his limitations ?

He's gifted with the ability to score, strength for his build on the court... But with that height comes a greater responsibility in terms of on court leadership and having the good fortune of having a front court player with far more dominance and skill then what we feature...

I think the issue is. We can see what he can do occasionally. It was game 2 or 3 against the Knicks a couple years ago and he had 12 assists and we stomped them.

He can do it sometimes, but he can't seem to do it at will. That's the issue. If it was Allen, I wouldn't complain because it just isn't his game. When you see it, but he can't summon it, it seems like he is just clueless.

Mitchell needs to be more selfless. Koby can surround him with all of the talent in the world but Mitchell thinks he needs to do it on his own in crunch time. A big reason why Cleveland won the Detroit series last season was that several guys stepped up at key moments, including Mobley's heroics in Game 5, erasing a dig deficit in the closing minutes, which spurred the comeback
 
Mitchell's style works in the regular season but falls apart in the playoffs
when teams can turn up the pressure on him that makes him
become even more 1 on 5 mode.

Players tend to stop moving on offense when they aren't fed
the rock often enough. Also contributes to guys being out of
good rebounding positions.
 
Mitchell can do whatever he wants. The trick will be Kenny getting him to facilitate..
