Drug Test

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Something I've wondered...if you fail, can legal action be taken against you?

Companies are testing more rigorously for drug use. The logic holds not only for positions of responsibility, police, fbi etc.. but also for any one operating machinery, or supervising the same. Beyond that it is more difficult to justify.. That said,I have seen it used across the board more often..

Here is the thing about legalizing marijuana. People think there are no consequences to use, but there are in terms of job opportunities. I struggled to hire young people in Vermont, where weed usage is high. We were a secure facility, and drug testing was a contractual requirement with our customers. Young black males were particularly affected. Nobody mentions this when pushing for legal use..

So if marijuana was made legal at the federal level, you wouldn't be able to discriminate against it in the hire process. That is the point about legalizing it federally. Even if it is only legal for medical use.

You get caught with pain killers in your system, if you have a valid prescription, they cant refuse to hire you based upon that.

Depends. I’ve heard it will and it won’t. Just depends on the brand too. I wouldn’t trust gas station CBD.

Right.

My wife has used a couple sold by her chiro and I’ve used it. Then she bought the same brand online. It was ok but it was different each time.

But then I’ve used CBD that my buddy with a MMJ rx has from the same source and it’s on a different planet. Of course when you combine cbd with the mmj it’s amazing for a variety of different things, but even the cbd as a standalone is awesome. I do believe it has a small amount of THC in it but it’s supposed to be undetectable.

Who knows.

Realistically, the majority of the CBD products you can buy are made using industrial hemp. It's just plain garbage.

Now if it's made using CBD predominate strains, or strains where THC levels have been bred out of it, might be a different story (think Charlotte's Web and AC/DC)

If you really want medicinal qualities, you'd be better off microdosing with full extract cannabis oil.

Too many cannabinoids with such little research into the ways they really function within the endocannabinoid system.

They don't have to hire you to drive a forklift.. that's my point...

I find the presumption that people will work high if tested positive for cannabis ludicrous considering the free pass alcohol, a far more destructive substance, gets.

How about we start testing people for alcohol use and fire anyone that has had a drink in the past six-weeks?

Continued efforts against cannabis, while people can drink at will, are little more than folks looking for an excuse to persecute people.

Both parties should be demanding Federal legalization.

Now I’m even more wound up. I could use something to help take the edge off..
Sorry, that wasn't my intention. I'm genuinely curious and is something I have wondered about before.

Ohio’s MMJ law sounds horrid.

I have mine in AZ because the law basically protects me if I have it in my possession, I can’t be fired unless they have reasonable cause to believe I was using on the job. I totally figured every state understood that the protection should exist.

I use predominantly CBD topicals because they’re cheaper than appointments for lytocane (misspelled I’m sure) to assist with muscle relaxation for bruxtism. Prior to getting my card, used the legal to sell at the mall stuff. It’s HORRIBLE.

At this point, with all we know about cannabis, any State or politician that continues to push the "Devil's cabbage" narrative needs to be corrected.

When Sessions, at the time still AG, said that he was demanding that the DOJ and all law-enforcement agencies prosecute and punish people to the fullest extent of the law for any marijuana related crime because he still believed in the "Reefer Madness" propaganda, I thought that nothing could be more stupid, self-destructive or venal than sending people to prison over a set of lies. And that doesn't even address the racial implications of the zeal for prosecuting people caught with an ounce of weed.

Without getting political, I am hoping that a new POTUS and new Congress in 2021 has cannabis decriminalization toward the top of their legislative agenda.

Followed by a widespread amnesty for everyone in prison for cannabis usage violations as well as expunging the criminal records for the same reasons.

And, to send a message that the US is now creating drug laws based on science and intent, rather than myth, law breakers involved with the opioid epidemic should be prosecuted with the same vigor as weed users were.

Have you tried taking it in non-suppository form yet?
