Dwayne Haskins passed away

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you had me point to a human whom I might think is a robot posing in a human body, it is Scheffty.

He was an obvious leader of men who impacted a ton along his journey. Say something nice asshole.

Hard to wrap your head around what happened with Jones. Always seemed like a good guy that his teammates really liked especially at the college level.

Also this may not be the best place for this but does it seem like Schefter is getting worse on things like this. I don’t always remember him being so cringy in his tweets, it was just the info and done. In the last year or two it seems to me like he tries to take jabs at guys while reporting info.

Scheftner must have paid this clown to upstage him. What a fucking tool.

Toxicology report is out...sad, but does paint a picture consistent with his erratic behavior that day,

I get that Rover is trying to get a rise (and also tends to be sloppy and/or oversimplify stories, and in some cases it can be amusing,) but he just said (without names) that this means Schefty was right, and that he was "cancelled" and asked if this means we need to "un-cancel him" - all three of these things are very wrong.

Don’t mean to pile onto the dark side here, but sometimes these analysts that people get upset with have a bigger picture of these players and “say it out loud”.

Whether they should or not is debatable (or it appears some believe it isn’t). If they were talking about my family member like that, I’d imagine I wouldn’t want them to. If it was my favorite player, I could see how it might be triggering. In this case, Haskins isn’t.

My question would be, if you know that someone was troubled and had been committed to self-destructive behavior, do you save those comments for a day/a week/a month, til after they’ve died to mention them? What’s the timeline? Ideally, someone would confront the player while they’re alive, or the analysts would have the balls to bring it up before then.

Just curious what people’s ideal timeline is to mention these things were a problem, if at all.

FTR I think the world we live in now where nothing is off limits and nothing is private anymore sucks. I don’t think people SHOULD be sharing everything with the world. But once it’s out, it’s out. And this is the world we do live in.

It's certainly destructive for a lot of people.

Who is Rover?

Who is Rover?
Lead host of Rover's Morning Glory, the local Howard Stern wannabe, who comments on news a day or two late. Real name Shane French.

Had an amusing interview with the Baker affair woman Kacie Dingess.
