Hopefully he didn't get injured dunking...
This was probably the most accurate post on the first 2-3 pages.WHAT A MONUMENTAL WASTE OF TIME NAH BUTT U GUYS R GREAT LONG STORY SHORT I LOVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD THE END
Dylan is good enough to play - if he can do the one thing he is supposed to do well. Make 3's. But if he doesn't make 3's at a high level, he's not good enough in the other areas to make up for it. Here's to hoping he finds the range and has a nice career.Hopefully he didn't get injured dunking...
Seriously though, if he can stay healthy and get his confidence back, he should be able to contribute off the bench... he has the skills and iq to be an nba bench.... but constant injury killed his development aand confidence
There isn't a player on the Cavs that I've been more disappointed by. Even Okoro has shown flashes I still think he can become something. I've about given up on Windler.Dylan is good enough to play - if he can do the one thing he is supposed to do well. Make 3's. I like a lot of what Windler does. He moves very well off the ball, he rebounds well, he scraps, he passes. But bottom line is he has to be the kind of 3-point shooter that, even when he's not shooting, has a gravity about him that the opposing d has to account for. He has a year to prove he can be that guy. There isn't a player on the Cavs that I've been more disappointed by. Even Okoro has shown flashes I still think he can become something. For a guy who was supposed to be a markman, Windler's career 3-point shooting percentage is 32%. I struggle to find anything that he does well. He did let it fly last season and I think he missed 19 in a row. It's really a cautionary tale about drafting specialists. There was one thing we were for sure he could do and that is shoot. HIs rebounding has translated better. Guys in practice said it was unclear whether Darius or Windler was the better shooter, and it's true Darius also struggled initially. Still he needs to let it fly and not be gunshy or he is gone.

You can't be gunshy, but at some point you also have to make shots. Windler doesn't have enough of a track record in the league to make defenses respect him regardless and carry him over those gigantic slumps.
For a guy like him, if you miss 19 in a row, you're just showing the other team you can't shoot.
shooters are like cornerbacks - you have to have a big ego and a short memory.I think he missed those shots because he hesitated tho
