ECF | Game 5 | Cavs (2-2) @ Boston (2-2) | May 23rd, 2018 | 8:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
THere was no move out there...just didn't exist...and Kemba Walker was not worth the damn Brooklyn pick.

Personally I’d rather have Kemba Walker than the 8th pick in the draft given that you guys would have had a puncher’s chance with one additional creator and given that LeBron has an unsustainable burden on him.

Even if we lose this series?

I was against it. Now, after seeing where the pick landed and taking stock of this roster...we should have done it.

So LeBron all of sudden got tired ?? Yet people expect 2 more games this series ?

It’s like the whole Steph Curry is hurt argument...
No. You could see he burned his wad last game. At home I expect he will have a good game and the supporting cast will play much better allowing him to have some reserves in the tank. Why are people so negative on here?

Put the 8th in package and give me Kawhi.

The Celtics played only 7 guys for majority of the game. Just like Houston did last night. Who are our 7 guys we ride to the end with.

LeBron didn't score 30+, so that's pretty much an automatic loss for this squad.

Wasn't a fan of it either, but looking back, we should have done it.

I mean which scenario do you think gives us a better shot at retaining LeBron?

We make the trade. Get Walker. Beat Boston. Play the Warriors. Get obliterated.

We don't make the trade. Still have the pick. Lose to Boston, who go on to get swept by the Warriors.

I feel like having the pick as a vehicle to acquire a star-level player hand-picked/recruited by LeBron is basically our only chance at keeping him.

So yeah I'd still rather have the pick going into the off-season than Kemba.

I mean...we can still trade the pick for Kemba. Like...Charlotte would totally do that shit if we called them.

All is not lost. Cavs will win game six and anything can happen in game seven. I put my money on LeBron to deliver.
If only it was a one on one contest we would be fine but the rest of the team suck on the road besides LeBron.
