ECF Game 7 | Cavaliers vs. Celtics | May 27th, 2018 | 8:30 PM

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who in their right mind would think we're setting ourselves up to win starting Jeff Green and TT?
This is like drinking antifreeze after you drink Drano.

We put in TT to adjust for Horford. They countered with Baynes whose neutralized TT and instead of trying to destroy Baynes 1-4 set and force him to go the 3 point line we've put in Jeff Green which will allow Boston to put 3-4 guys in the paint against Lebron. You have to hope and pray Lebron's 3 pointer is on to have any shot now

Does anyone else find it highly-unsettling that people in here are certain that our coach is about to make the first of probably multiple poor decisions, which will handicap our team and make it harder for us to win, under circumstances that are already difficult?

I mean, this guy is getting $7 million per, to make exactly the wrong decisions. Can I get $7 million per, to make exactly the wrong decisions?

My butthole is already firmly clenched for this game and it's not even 3PM yet.
Had dairy and taco bell yesterday. Nerves for the game and also trying to pack an entire house in a few days. Clenching here but not working. Thank goodness for DVR once it starts.

At least one of JR or Green need to play out of their mind. I'm not confident about that prospect, but if they are both bricking every jumper, we are done.

They need multiple role players to step up like they just haven't on the road... It can happen, but the Love injury sapped so much of my previous confidence.

I think I might have had more confidence in Nance to step up than Love. Nance at least has energy and strength. I hope his foul shooting does not hurt us.

I like it. Curious what everyone else wants?
I wouldn't mind that lineup in spurts or to close it out. I think a lineup of Hill/Korver/JR/LBJ/Nance should be the one to close it out. JR has struggled offensively but he has been solid defensively. We just need him to hit 3s. This will be one of those LBJ is probably playing 46-48 minute type games(again), so I'd rather us stagger lineups a bit throughout, mainly having Nance and Korver out there as much as possible with him.

I’m super nervous already for tonight. I’m really worried about no Love and having less space inside as Boston defenders sag in off Green or let him shoot 3s.

My thoughts exactly. Love is soft like vanilla ice-cream but he cannot be left alone on the 3point line. Green though.. Lebron has to shoot the lights out tonight bcz I'm sure the Celtics will crowd the paint sans Love. I dont expect a W here unless something extraordinary happens. But with Lebron you just never know..

I just watched back the entire 2016 NBA Finals game 7 every second of it from start to finish. Kyrie was so huge in this game and those last 3 games. It is just such a shame that it came down to him wanting to leave. I will never understand why and never understand why Gilbert let our GM who built this championship team David Griffin go and as soon as he did Kyrie wanted out. David Griffin said on NBA TV this year that he felt if he was still the GM he could have made it work with LeBron and Kyrie. As soon as Kyrie left I knew it was over for this team and I knew LeBron was gone after this year. They had a chance to figure it out to make some moves to bring in 1 more key piece to give them a chance to compete this year and then LeBron would stay but Kyrie leaving that was it. Then they trade him for compete garbage. Pick 8 for Kyrie that is awful.

Now as for tonight you have no Love and this is 2008 all over again when Celts beat the Cavs in game 7 despite LeBron scoring 45 at Boston. In 2008 the home team won every game and LeBron had a bunch of cast off teammates with no all-stars just like he will tonight.

LeBron is 1 of the greatest players of all time and accomplished maybe the greatest feat in basketball history bringing back the Cavs down 3-1 against a 73 win GS team that was 50-3 at home beating them twice there and winning a game 7 in the finals for the first time since 1978...but........Today it will be too much against a team that is 10-0 at home in Boston that despite missing it's top 2 players LeBron and his band of scrubs will not get it done.

I give it 10% chance. Hope I am wrong. Once LeBron leaves this year I will be devastated but will always remember that 2016 season. I won't hate him for leaving this time like I did the first time which proved to be the right move for LeBron.

Cavs were worst team in NBA for those 4 years he was gone and he then won a championship with them. Truly incredible.

I'm legit scared to watch. I usually look forward to every game we play but this one is like counting down to doomsday. I shouldn't take this shit so serious but I do.

Alright gentleman we’ve come to the end of the road

Our guys gave it all they could

Can’t win them all

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun Cavs ride

One like no other

For the Love of all that is holy, Lue, PLEASE sub in Nance and Korver if we can’t fucking score for shit in the first 5-6 minutes which we won’t. Then go with Hill/Korver/Green/Bron/Nance or Hill/JR/Korver/Bron/TT or Nance.

With the starting lineup we have set, our only chance is if JR is hitting crazy threes, TT’s getting ORebs, and Green hits an open three. What do you think the chances of that are? This starting lineup neuters a tired James by closing spacing and he’s going to resort to contested off the dribble threes or 21 footers. It’s doomed to failure unless one of these role players who haven’t done shit collectively on the road do something. God I wish we had Frye to play center and have LeBron and 4 shooters. Or I wish we had developed Cedi more.

To win, we honestly need Boston to choke and miss open shots.

Fucking scared to watch this tonight. Dreading being down 33-16 at the end of one.

Hopefully the Celtics suck, at least early. If they do, it will give Lue time to figure it out. Obviously LBJ is the deciding factor on whether we can Lueproof it or not. My guess he doesn't have another 40+ game, but 30+.

I am expecting a classic. All the games have been turds up to this point, I see a game decided in the last minute.
