Yeah, but he is a black hole on offense, George...

At the very least you can pick and pop with Drew, and he's a better rebounder and plays with more energy than Curry...

I wouldnt totally hate getting Eddy Curry. His last year in Chicago he had a very productive year, and last year he had a productive year averaging 19.5 ppg, 7.1 rbg. He has been extremely lazy so far this year, but it is the Knicks and he probably hates being there. At 6'11" 285 lbs he could be a decent player when not asked to be the C on the team. If he came here our lineup would most likely have him at PF and Z at C. He is more productive than Drew on offense with 13.9 ppg so I would hate the idea. Plus, its hard to average more than 5 rbg when your team doesn't force the other team to miss shots.:chuckles:

To be clear, there are guys I'd rather have indcluding his Knick teammate Zach Randolph who is an outstanding player with 17.2 ppg, and 10.2 rbg.

Randolph can rebound without jumping. He can give you a 22/10 night.

If this team had Zach Randolph on it for a full season they would win the Eastern Conference regular season with the best record. The one thing that they havent had since since Boozer left was dominant low-post player. Zach Randolph would give them that. Imagine if they could have PF that they actually could run plays for because he plays like a man.

No matter how much sense the deal makes Izaiah (butchered that name) isn't responding to any trade ideas. Ya he is talking but after all the talking to the knicks have done this season and no1 has left, i dont think we will be seeing a different knicks lineup in march

No ****ing way we even considr Eddy Curry. I'd take Jerome James first. At least we know what we'd be getting.

I remember the hype around the Knicks and how Ferry was sitting on his hands whilst the East got better. Meh.

Keep on bringing out these "talents". I want players that fit, and I want winners. Curry is none of the above.

And don't forget the heart issues too. I can't imagine any team (other than the Knicks) ever having a real interest after that came out.
Miami. They have the expiring contracts to do it (Jason Williams and Ricky Davis). They will have replaced Shaq AND picked up Marion AND will have a lottery pick.

There will be those who say EC would not replace Shaq, but Shaq being as limited as he was, EC was better. I have also said the problem with NYK has not been a poor roster, but a ridiculous coach and laughable GM (same guy). Miami has a legendary coach who won't take any crap and excellent ownership. EC will either quit or get better. My guess is get better. He is still a young guy and he will like Miami. His job will be easy with Wade and Marion drawing all of the attention.

As for Randolph, Who knows. He has cheese between the ears. I don't see our mission statement as being compatible with him.
