Following the 53rd game of the Cavs 2021/2022 season, RealCavsFans.com presents the 7th episode of the Rubber Rim Job podcast. @RchfldCavRaised is joined by guest co-host @RealMYoung23 as they deep dive into Collin Sexton and his role on the team moving forward.

This episode was recorded on Sunday 2/6 just after the new agency representation for Sexton was announced and hours before the Caris Levert trade was finalized, but the guys sprinkle in talk about:

- Parallels between this rebuild and the Embry/Wilkens rebuild of the 80's
- RIP to the first Cavs coach Bill Fitch and the parallels to the Miracle of Richfield team of 1976
- Trade Deadline week hopes and dreams (as of Sunday 2/6)
- Somehow the guys were able to mix in Joe Tait game calls, Fred McLeod interviewing Bill Fitch and Lenny Wilkens all in the same episode without coming off as Grandpa's and out of touch Cav fans.

I listen to a lot of sports talk radio when I'm driving. It's drivel. They're desperate for content. Starved for content.

This hour+ was absolutely riveting sports talk. So much better than terrestrial radio that it hurts.

Appreciate you my brotha! When we finally hung up the phone and turned off the podcast machine, we had 2+ hours. I left alot of substance on the cutting room floor for sure.

@The Oi and @Damage carried me for an hour and a half the very next day on trade deadline roundtable that I hope to publish in the next 24 hours as well after trimming down to an hour.

I think we've got a good foundation and series of contributors to build off here.

Save that on a USB drive somewhere! Awesome content, but of course I love Cavs history as much as this unexpected gift of the present. Haven't finished just yet, but my favorite tangent was the mid-90s dip into Fratello Ball. Keep MYoung on speed dial, gents.

Great stuff, Fellas !!!

Great episode as usual. I loved the discussion between Richfield and Young on this one. Lot of historical parallels and context that could be applied to the current situation.

You really don't get this discussion anywhere else. This is Real Cav Fandom. LOL
