He is getting a little more respect on the long shots I've noticed the last couple games, they don't totally slag on him, that's a nice development. His playmaking is really nice, he seems close to being able to be a hub. It's really too bad our coach isn't better on this side of the ball, not hard to imagine the right coach taking advantage of his quick reads, etc...

I got to believe this year was a bit of a wakeup call to Mobley, basically no one talking about him other than Cavs fans anymore...Barnes gets AS, Chet and Wemby getting all the press. Even Sengun getting more love these days...

If Mobley wants to be the man...he's going to have to go get it..

Nope, was shy and directly led to a Garland to because he kept waiting for him to make a move. Inconsistent Mobley is. Does he want to be a stud or just a guy. At 22 we don't know. Will we like the answer at 25-26????

Well know by next season

If you aren’t a star by year 3 you likely won’t become one

But there are exceptions like Brunson so idk

Mobley and Okoro have absolutely put the clamps on Paolo this series.

There were a few times last night that we had Niang guarding Paolo, while Okoro was in the corner guarding Joe Ingles. I feel like those possessions are the only time Paolo's been able to breathe, get space, and get a good shot the entire series.

It'll be fun to watch Ice and Mobley lock down Brown and Tatum next series.

Hopefully we get Wade back to help defend in Boston. That seems unlikely given his history and lack of any time table.

Between him, Allen and garland we need one of these dudes to above their usual play. I’m talking about start dropping 25. Who wants to be the man?

Put on more muscle this off season and work on getting good post position and going to his hook shot more. By year 4 is the time where we should be able to in a playoff game say we need a bucket can we go to you. Nowhere near there now

I would not take him over Tyson Chandler

I know he knocks down a couple 3’s a week but that’s not good enough.

The expectation was that he was going to be a special talent and the next big man in the league to dominate…

He’s a serviceable player.

A couple of months ago I might have reluctantly agreed, at least to some degree. But he’s been coming on strong over the last two months or so post-injury and showing a lot of intriguing flashes of expanding his skill set. IMO he’s earned at least reserving judgment on his progress, and a guarded optimism about where his ceiling could end up.
