Looks incredible out there.

Jump shot isn’t quite there yet, but he looks so smooth with everything he does on both ends.

Long windup which probably makes him overthink things and makes his shot inconsistent during real game time. The slow release is not an issue as far as getting his shot blocked or not, that's not goin to happen. It's more about consistency. Do you think he will need to rework his shot?

I'm not worried at all, Either way, I think it's going to take him some reps, but it is going to look vastly different result wise soon.

The only thing that matters at first is showing the league he can actually make a 3 pointer in a real life NBA game situation. Then we'll see how teams start defending him. Unless he gets more or less consistent shooting from the perimeter, guys will let him launch as many bombs he likes. And that will kill his driving lanes also.

No substitute for shooting in today's NBA. But while we wait for Mobley to find a 3pt shot, he should play the 5.

Didn’t watch the game, but from what I’m gathering this guy is either a superstar or a bust. Really excited to watch him.
You are cool with him busting or you busting I assume.. Either way you win

THe defensive potential is off the charts.

I hope he focuses on that for the time being. He can figure out the offense later.

His ability to extend his body is wild and his feet are so fast. Wow what an unusual specimen. He wasn't for the entire game, but there were stretches there where he dominated defensively. Guy would get the ball against him and they would look like "What am I going up against here?" They weren't sure how to shake him at all. That was very exciting.

I'm all for bringing in Lauri off the bench quickly so Mobley gets more minutes with Love and Rubio. That unit with Sexton and Lamar was pretty darn good

It was clear that several Hawks players passed up or altered shots with
Mobley nearby.

And man, 1 step and his reach and he can get that weak stuff
outta there.
