The web site says 7'0. I am assuming that is the official but maybe not updated?

It was mentioned a couple of times during media day that official measurements weren't out yet. He didn't get measured at the combine.

They said measurements would be out soon.

7'0- 7'1.........who the fuck cares..........as long as he can play...............
It is interesting data as he was not measured at the combine and not publically in college either. We got very focused on the height of our prior number 1 picks o why shouldnt we be interested in this guy's real height?

It was really a joke, but based upon not being measured yet officially and how tall he is compared to other near 7 footers, i am guessing 7'1, kind of a bit of a running joke around here though

If it came out 2 days before the draft that Lebron James was 1 inch shorter, and Carmelo Anthony was 1 inch taller...........Would you take 'Mello over Lebron?

No you wouldn't. My point is.........fuck 1 inch. Can the dude play......... dominate?

And to Lee's point...........yea sometimes an inch matters........and sometimes 2 seconds matters....... :chuckle:

Such a weird body type: Ralph Sampson comes to mind?
Sampson was a ridiculous 7'4' but he seemed like was he was all arms and legs from my vague recollection

Sampson had talent, was just always injured. At least thats what I remember.

I hate the way the Cavs have started doing interviews. They used to post them within 20 min of being recorded. Now they drop more than 24 hrs after they happen or not at all. Seems counterproductive when you have the #3 pick.
