I see a guy who absolutely by year 2-3 will be a clear cut #1 or #2 offensive option. I love that the team is choosing to not lean on him so heavily on offense right now, as that might be too much for him. But both the team/coaches and Evan are picking and choosing their spots on when he is assertive on offense while developing and testing out his game. We of course could still benefit from a good scoring SG/wing that can create their own shot or at least be a really good spot up shooter, but I think Evan will absolutely be the #1 or #2 guy on offense as early as the middle of next season, but definitely by year 3.

If Allen can maintain his level, you have the 3 headed nucleus in Mobley/Jarrett/Darius right there.
I'm sending Okoro this AllNET Shot Assist for christmas, good times are ahead.

I wouldnt say ROY is locked up. Scottie Barnes will be in the conversation till the end of the year.

What is interesting is I thought Green would win it. On a bad Houston team, I thought he would put up a ton of shots and score 20 points on 40% shooting. What is hilarious is Houston went on a 6 game winning streak the minute Jalen got hurt. Jalen isnt getting as many shots as I thought, but is shooting an impressive 38% overall, lol. 27.8% from 3 on over 6 shots, so we complain about Okoro shooting bad, but Green has been just as bad with zero on defense.

Barnes has been 15/8 on 49/36 shooting and 3 dimes. I love his game and would be perfect for our team, of course I love Mobley more, I mean just because your think your wife is hot, doesnt mean other girls arent hot too, right? lol

I am not usually petty, but I do love how bad Green (and KPJ) have been.
Evan is putting up similar stats than Barnes but Mobley has that elite defense definitely roy. Now I live watching Barnes play and he would’ve been roy on most years but too bad he came out same year as Mobley

That is a crazy stat because Webber was really good.
I assume you’re being facetious. Kinda surprised a guard, like MJ, is on that list over a big, like Bill Russell or Tim Duncan. Just goes to show what a ridiculous athlete MJ was. At any regard, Mobley is in some incredible company!

I mean Jordan was pretty good too, but holy crap Webber? You know he was a member of the Fab 5 right? HOF, this isnt just some other average PF.

I subscribe to the belief that you are only as good as your top 3 guys. Those 3 guys typically play heavy minutes and come playoff time with the rest between games they can play even more minutes. Coming into the season, I wasn't convinced that the top 3 on Cleveland could be close to any legit NBA team. But with the emergence of Mobley and the impact of Allen and Garland, I can see a top 3 that could actually be very good, very soon.

If that is your big 3, then you put a 3/D shooter at wing and a pure scorer at 2 that can play D(Collin sobs in pain).

He has to put all of his time into the 10 footers, from all angles. I see him miss those so many times. Not too worried, as that is likely one of the easiest things to fix as it takes reps and confidence, which he will build throughout the first few offseasons. Once he nails down a go-to move, then the offense becomes unguardable.
And a spoiled point guard because on every possession he can choose pick and roll with Allen or pick and pop with Mobley.

It's time to free Mobley.

At least 50% of our half court playmaking should consist of him coming off a screen and receiving the ball at the elbow. He sees over the defense and is very good at using tough angles to immediately distribute the ball back out to the perimeter with his go go gadget arms. If the defense stays home on the shooters, then make a move to the basket and possibly drop it off the JA.

Mobley can't yet function well if the paint is crowded, he needs some space. We need to put him in a position where he can immediately react to what the D is doing.

In short, we need much more inside-out play, more hi-lo stuff. We need less aimless dribbling by the PG. That's the easiest thing in the world to defend for NBA teams.

I get that Garland has now been anointed the "Man", but JBB must understand that we can't win in the long run if Darius' usage is sky high. Need to stay unpredictable.

I’m sure Mobley will be working on that left hand hook as a counter move-people are overplaying his right because his left isn’t as developed. But if there’s one kid I have supreme confidence in improving that….it’s Mobley.

Mobility cannot be shook! Dude has ice in his veins.

Seems to me that teams are getting more physical with Mobley.

If he can start hitting those mid-range jumpers, it will get defenders
out from the rim area and open it up for him.

Basically came here to post this. Once they started running the offense through him because Garland was effectively shut down they started scoring again. It has to be more deliberate. He can make reads and guys can't defend the passing lanes against him like they can with Garland.

His defense is already elite. His playmaking is going to make him a superstar IMO.

Darius has been great, and I want him to keep doing what he is doing, but when he is being credibly guarded like that he needs to get the ball inside to Mobley. Get open from 3 Garland and spot up
