Can't believe they missed his block where he snatches the ball from the player after a series of spins/moves and causes the OKC bench to sit down midway through standing up!

Edit: nevermind, I think this is a points compilation. Wanna say, Mobley's scoring capabilities keep improving.

It was a fucking travel too... he took an extra step.

I see players keep moving their pivot foot on their spin moves way too often without the refs blowing the damn whistle. Disgusting.

Officiating in this league is pretty nasty... I watch a lot of FIBA and the difference is big.

His game is really nothing like Duncan's except both are tall and athletic. But his temperment, so cool, calm...i feel like JBB needs to check Mobley for a pulse sometimes during the game.

Do we have any play where he shows emotion? Mobley is a cold blooded assassin. Its crazy how good he is as a one and done rookie,

Opposing teams are running thick bodied guys out there and their home court refs are allowing unlimited pushing, grabbing, elbowing, smacking, and undercutting on a regular basis. That's the new book on how to challenge our long but relatively light bodied lineup.

I'd like to see us pick up a wide bodied thumper, a young Kendrick Perkins if you will, to go out and punish some people when they go after our guys the way they do.

JBB should speak up about this. Not good for the NBA to let a future superstar get constantly mugged like that

I've noticed his defensive activity, especially around the rim, has slipped the last few weeks. You guys think he's just a little worn down from the grind of the rookie year because he's not used to playing this often and against this kind of physicality every night? I also suspected he might be a little heavier than he was to start the year, which is a good thing long term since he needs the bulk to gain position better on offense and be more of a threat on the boards. But short term, he might still be learning to adjust to the extra weight and it's impacting his cardio level on defense. The reason I think that is because he seems to be handling bumps and backing guys down a little easier recently and he also looks a bit thicker than he did to start the year, but not sure if that's just me seeing things.

i think the scouting report is out that you need to body him up to make him less effective. but here's the thing, the guy is still putting up ROY stats with defenses actively taking him out of his comfort zone.

i can't wait when he gets to 80% of giannis' body and just punish guys repeatedly.

Evan is second on the team in average movement speed on offense (1st is Garland). He’s averaging 1.38 miles on offense a game. Again, second to Garland.

He’s first on the team in average miles traveled on defense per game. Other players move faster, but he logs more mins. And frankly is smarter on that end and plays closer to the hoop.

He’s emptying the clip every night. He’s well beyond any competitive workload he’s had in the past. In both mins and GP.

I think his mins should be cut IF movement data and other metrics begin to signify big fatigue setting in. Because that leads to eventual injury.

Absolutely agree.

Mobley is very young, so in the short term he can handle a lot of minutes, but it's those fatigue injuries I'm worried about... the ones where body control breaks down for a split second and something snaps. He's not at the stage in his physical development yet where people bounce off him... it's the other way around. That adds up after a while.

In the NBA, all wear and tear counts, no matter how young you are. Mileage matters. Mobley is logging a LOT more work hours than college players of the same age, with much less time for recovery.
