Does that include his pitching value?Franimal officially in negative fWAR territory with Chicago
I don't think there was ever a point in time where it was really thought of as OGonz vs. Reyes though. Seems like OGonz had already earned his spot as the de facto RF starter by the time that he was ready to come back from his injury. Reyes was more in the DH role taking bats away from the Miller and maybe Naylor a bit.I'm glad we put OGonz on the roster over Reyes...

I think we still can use a Reyes like player but he would also have to play a decent 1B. Naylor is shaping up more like a platoon 1B to me while Miller hasn't shown the ability to take the other side of that platoon and hit lefties. Then we got a bunch of other lefties who are in the picture and really just demonstrate the need for that RHB guy. I know you and CDAV45 have thrown out some names, and also guys like Christian Walker - I don't think we have to overpay here, just someone who can do the job well enough as they would not even have to be an every day player.
The trade with the Mets was fantastic for both teams. I am ok with this too.How did this stay under our radar? Good guy Cookie Carracco is 15-6 with a 3.79 ERA for the Mets this season. Wishing him nothing but the best.
