I thought that trade might end up biting us in the ass, especially after his 2020 season, but it ended up being a lose lose for both teams.

I would have liked him on a minor league deal personally...
Trade made sense at the time though at least
Justus Sheffield has been DFAd by Seattle.
Ben Heller has signed a minor league contract with the Rays after not appearing in MLB the last two seasons.
Clint Jackson Frazier is still looking for a job, after choosing free agency in October.
Jeff Feyereisen was DFAd by Tampa, then traded to the Dodgers for a 24 yr old reliever in A ball. Feyereisen pitched 24.1 IP without giving up an earned run last year, but shoulder surgery has put him on the shelf until at least August.
Thats the status of the four prospects we traded for Andrew Miller 6.5 yrs ago.

...as most trades involving prospects are..
Proven player > unproven prospects.. most of the time..
but there are exceptions... Sadly, most of these are only
"crowed" on after the fact.. and it both directions..
Making the same "claim" of a prospect or prospects being
losers before they're traded for whoever is where the self
promoters or pretenders and baseball savants.. differ..
EG: Who wants to make the claim that Tanner Bibee's career
is going to be just like Justus Sheffield?
