Does anyone use Draft Kings or Fan Duel to do any kind of tournaments or dollar games for baseball? Kind of cool; haven’t won anything crazy by any means but its fun to do research to pick bargain players to put in your lineup(s). Friend and I made an account and split the deposit and have come within a couple inches of 500 bucks a couple times.

Anyone?

Not as wild as turtle analytics, but still

Usually do a game a day for $1, they started an achievement thing in draft kings this season and they grant you essentially $20 buy in ticket if you play every day of the season got other achievements like total season HR and K's in your lineup. Obviously it'll cost more then the $20 i'll end up getting entering everyday but still keeps it fun and usually play Ramirez and Lindor and Indians starter for the day, and more often then not finish in the money. Not winning anything crazy but funds me for a week or two when I win.

I really do minimal research aside from checking their game-logs that are provided, works for me cause Ramirez and Lindor are pretty consistently raking and the starters K a bunch no matter who it usually is. Essentially gotta get lucky on the bargains like you mentioned ill usually check pitching match ups and if they play at somewhere like Coors or other hitters parks for the bargains.

I do the daily lineups on FanDuel and do the head to head but usually do free games just to get a hang of it and best way to score.

I wanted to chime in on your post about using Draft Kings or Fan Duel for baseball tournaments and dollar games. I have to say, I completely agree that it's a lot of fun to do research and try to find those bargain players for your lineup. Even if you don't win big, there's something satisfying about feeling like you made some smart picks. One thing I've found helpful is checking out free sports picks and Sports Predictions from various sources. It can give you some insights and ideas for players you might not have considered otherwise.
