Fantasy Football 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ranked 11th in yards, 4 TDs, which is between 6th and 10th (leader has 6 and 4 players with 5) and 7th in targets.
He's pretty damn good this year and that is with Godwin beside him.

Yeah, but almost half his yards and all of his touchdowns came from one big game. And while he got 17 targets this week, he only caught 9, which kind of illustrates the eternal problem with Mike Evans. He's not efficient with his targets. And if the team isn't force-feeding him downfield, which they rarely need to do these days with Godwin always open over the middle, he can really kill you some weeks.

He used to be consistent on sheer volume alone because Tampa really didn't have anyone else, but now they have a better receiver working the slot who can also be deployed all over the field. That's why I projected Evans to be a WR2 this year who is very boom/bust in nature. Still a viable fantasy player, but as mentioned there are going to be weeks where he absolutely fucks you, whereas I think Godwin is going to be fairly consistent because of his role on the team. A really good corner can shut down Mike Evans on the outside, but teams rarely deploy their top corners in the slot.

Are any of you maniacs going to tell me a trade to offer before I offer David Johnson for Waller and a few brews

It's tough to give trade advice when I have no idea of the strengths and weaknesses of the other teams in your league. That's especially true in redraft where teams aren't just going to give up a great player if they have no back-up to fill in. Dynasty you can work around that if one team is tanking and the other contending.

Yeah that’s why I dialed into this one team with 2 top 10 TEs. The rest of his team is honestly pretty weak to the point where he could use RB or WR help way more than his second TE insurance policy

Ah I didn't realize that Andrews and Hooper were on the same team.

Maybe start with an offer of Rojo/Sanders and Tate for Andrews and see where the conversation goes?

I was making the argument that Evans IMO is more valuable than any TE not named Kelce, Kittle, Ertz

I get that. I'd be hesitant to flip Evans for Hooper too, especially in non-PPR. A lot of Hooper's value right now is that he is getting a ton of targets (on pace for 133). Evans, on the other hand, isn't as target dependent because he can give you a ton of value on a single target if he catches a long bomb.

Someone help me formulate a trade here

non PPR, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE

The trade target is either Mark Andrews or Austin Hooper

my receivers and backs

OBJ
Mike Evans
David Johnson
Chris Carson
Kerryon Johnson
Tyler Boyd
Tyrell Williams
Ronald Jones
Golden Taint
Miles Sanders

My only TE is Vance McDonald and the best TE on waivers is probably Fant so I’m kind of desperate. Evans for Hooper?

@Jack Brickman @Randolphkeys @King Stannis

I'd offer Kerryon and Tate for Hooper, but I'm also 1-5 this season so you probably shouldn't listen to me.

I love starting that 3 headed monster of RBs. I honestly think Kerryon’s best games are ahead of him so it’d be hard for me to give him up

Another question in another league. 1 point per 30 passing yards and 6 point passing touchdowns

Cousins
Goff
Allen

Leaning Allen because LOLphins. I honestly don’t trust Goff at all at this point.

Allen, especially since he's a pretty good threat to run one in every week.

Cousins has been better lately but I don't trust him yet, and Goff just isn't a good fantasy QB imo.

Aaron Jones was finally freed last week with his monster game in Dallas, however this week he literally "dropped the ball" twice...Does this mean Jamaal Williams takes over the majority of reps?

You may see more reps for Williams.

Maybe even more of a time share ala Denver.

Mediocre records in all leagues, despite drafting well, has led me to pull a David Griffin.

Traded Mike Evans, Singletary and Lindsey for Godwin and Conner. Now I have Kamara, Fournette, Conner and Gordon at RB. And Godwin and TY starting at WR.

Needed more consistent scorers and another true RB1 to hold down my FLEX.

In the other league I traded Tyler Boyd and Brieda for Fournette. And AP, Witten and Singletary for Kittle.

I now have Chubb and Fournette at RB and Carson for my FLEX with Tyreke and Keenan at WR. Kittle solves my black hole at TE. Still have Marlon Mack, Golladay and Robby Anderson on my bench.

It is now time to crush.

You won that trade pretty easily imo

They both will see a big increase in points. Both are in last place and needed depth. One was starting Duke Johnson.

The one guy had, somehow, Ertz and Kittle so he benefited from having weird depth.

I think I’m illiterate, I only saw the first ine

I actually like the receiver of Boyd and Breida intrade 2
