Fantasy Football 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have available to trade: Tyreke Hill, DJ Chark, Cooper Kupp, Devante Parker

Other owner has at RB: Jacobs (keeper), Mixon, Ekeler, Miles Sanders, Hunt, Hyde

What's a fair offer (PPR)? Kupp for Ekeler? Kupp for Mixon?

I would not trade Kupp for either of those guys alone. Kupp has had a couple down games but he is a premier PPR player.

Maybe Clark for Jacobs if you can pull it off.

Got an offer in one of my dynasty leagues the other day.

I give:
Christian Kirk, a 2020 1st (it's not my pick but it should fall in the 1.06 to 1.09 range), and my own 2021 2nd (probably late)

I get:
Odell Beckham

This is a no brainer, right? I love Kirk, but OBJ has had some of the best fantasy seasons in recent memory and he's available almost entirely because he's having a down year.

I'd do that. Whenever you can get a stud like OBJ without giving up another stud (I like Kirk, but he's not a stud yet), you do it.

Browns passing game literally can't be worse next year either - I look for OBJ to rebound.

I also look at it as a deal I can live with losing. Still got what I'm hoping will be a top five pick and my own pick and I am pretty loaded at WR with Hopkins, Allen, Godwin, Lockett, and Chark. I'm willing to gamble that OBJ goes back to being one of the top receivers in the league going forward. I like Kirk a lot but I just don't think his ceiling is WR1. I think he's more of a boom/bust guy like Diggs. He's going to have amazing weeks like a few weeks ago and he's going to have games where he scores less than five points.

Also, doing this deal would effectively meant I flipped Melvin Gordon and Adam Thielen in the offseason for Joe Mixon and OBJ, which I think is a total win in dynasty even if it didn't do much for me this year since Mixon was bad due to the Bengals' woes. Mixon is still a premiere RB talent in the NFL and he's three years younger with a ton less mileage. Plus, the pick I'm sending out is worse than the pick I got in that deal.

Oh, and I have Mayfield too, so if he and OBJ finally figure shit out, that's a nice stack every week.

I ended up sending Aaron Jones and DJ Chark for Derrick Henry and Julio Jones.

I think that's a good deal for me.

Johnathan Williams was dropped earlier today and between work and a birthday dinner I missed it. I'm beyond desperate for a RB with Conner hurt. Critical game this week, where the winner clinches the division and a first round bye and I was asleep at the wheel. Yeesh.

If he was dropped wouldn't he go onto waivers anyway and not just be a free agent that can be picked up immediately?

I could be mistaken, but I believe he was fair game up until kickoff. After that, he has to go through waivers.

In most (probably all) of the leagues I play in, any players dropped after waivers clear on Wednesday or Thursday are placed on waivers for either one or two days to give all players a shot at grabbing them.

Fkn obviously the guy I'm playing this week had #1 waiver priority and picked up Williams even though I lost Mack and had him in my crosshairs. This is a key week for me. I need the win.

I have had all kinds of injury issues and I have never been able to snag their replacements on the waiver.

Same. This one hurts because it literally hurt me. 19.60 fantasy points on an RB off waivers. This is our squads... His projection went up 11 after the game... Meanwhile my squad is so inconsistent with their performances outside of CMC.

Not going to lie didn’t think Williams would get that big of a workload with Wilkins being back. I targeted Hines instead due to his pass catching ability. I obviously fucked up. I had Mack too.

If it makes everyone feel a little bit better, those projections are mostly crap. One of your guys scores a TD, then it jumps 10% in the other direction.

In terms of waivers, some leagues do first come first served. Those leagues can just snag anyone, anytime.

Going to have to make a desperation RB play this week. Anybody feel strongly one way or the other about Gice, Scarborough, or Brian Hill? Those are looking like my best hail mary options right now.
