For those in FAAB leagues, how much do you plan to spend this week?
You could argue that Team 2 in that gets the three best players in the trade, at least for fantasy purposes.
I'll take a healthy Will Fuller over Adam Thielen this year, but I'll also be shocked if Fuller makes it through the entire season without missing time, as it hasn't happened yet. That being said, I'm fading Thielen hard right now because I really dislike the OC situation in Minnesota. Thielen's production took a huge dip when DeFilippo was replaced, and I'm worried that might carry over into this year because Mike Zimmer wants to ground and pound the ball despite the fact that he has two of the best twenty-ish WRs in the league.
Chubb is so much better than Jordan Howard that it's not even worth discussing. Howard will be a fantasy nobody by the end of the season. He'll be drafted as a handcuff next year if at all. There's already talk of an increased role for Miles Sanders in week two. Dead man walking.
Goff and Jackson is a wash to me. Give me Jackson in fantasy because I like QBs who can score points with their legs and their arms, but it's absolutely possible that Goff outscores him this year. I ended up with almost no Goff in fantasy this year, but that's more because he was consistently overdrafted than because I dislike him.
Important to remember that Lamar played a D2 college school last week and you probably shouldn't expect as many breakdowns in the secondary when the Ravens play actual NFL teams. Guys like Snead and Boykin had wide open scores because Miami's secondary is literal sewage, not because they're great receivers. I wouldn't expect that kind of production to hold up against even average NFL teams.
Still, he made some nice throws and is always a threat to run one or two in any given week. I think he's a solid starter candidate, but I also think he's going to letdown a lot of people bigtime this week.

He's not going to score near forty points every week, but he was a solid starter last year during the games he actually started and he looks to have improved a bit as a passer. He's also got a new coordinator who has a history making QBs in Jackson's mold kill it in fantasy. He did it with Tyrod Taylor in Buffalo and Kaep in San Francisco.
The thing I like most about Jackson is that, if he can't get it done in the passing game, he can make it up by giving you points on the ground. Some QBs (like Goff, for example) are just fucked from a fantasy standpoint when they have a bad passing game.
I'm probably not spending faab this week. For those in FAAB leagues, how much do you plan to spend this week?
I’m debating on starting Lamar over Rivers. Am I crazy?

I fucking hate people who offer obscenely bad trades “to get the discussion going”
If Njoku was a FA I wouldn’t even roster him
“Hey will you trade a WR1 for my stone hands TE Who even without Odell Baker hardly targeted at all last year and now stands to be a minuscule part of the offense?”
“Just getting the discussion going!”
