One trend in fantasy football writers that can go ahead and disappear:

Why do writers say "don't start ________ this week... but he's a flex play only."

If I put that guy out as a flex, his score is the same value as my RB2. I want two minutes of my life back for this terrible observation.

While I agree that the wording is suspect, I think the idea is that you should only deploy those players if you have no better options in your flex spot, and they shouldn't be starting for you.

Ok Claypool, Julio Jones, or Ronald Jones in my flex spot?

Feel like I wanna start Julio these first couple of weeks to see if a new destination revitalizes his career and I have a steal on my hands.

But Claypool feels safer.

6 team PPR, snake draft, I picked 6th.

QB - Mahomes
RB - Henry
RB - Chubb
WR - Jefferson
WR - McLaurin
TE - Kittle
FLEX - Taylor
D/ST - WAS
K - Butker

Bench
QB - Brady
WR - Godwin
RB - Sanders
TE - Goedert
RB - Davis
WR - Golladay
RB - Mostert

IR - M. Thomas

I already regret drafting Zeke

1) RoJo
2) Julio
3) Claypool

Ronald Jones running behind one of the best offensive lines in football against one of the worst run defenses in football? Yum.

Julio is an absolute stud, and Tannehill isn't worse than Matt Ryan.

Claypool is the deep threat on a team with a QB who may not be able to throw deep.

Glad I picked up Dak in a few leagues. Picked right up where he left off last year before the injury.

I have to say, it was pretty funny seeing Trey Sermon get beat out by a couple of nobodies just like in college. The kid was getting drafted absurdly high in fantasy this year and this was a nice reality check.

I followed the hype instead of listening to my gut. So dumb. Same with Aiyuk. Trash picks.

I think Aiyuk was dealing with a hamstring injury that caused him to fall on the depth chart. It's tough to see him not getting his at some point, especially after last year. Sermon, though, was just a guy for most of college, and routinely got beat out by guys who went on to do nothing.

The real failure is on the San Francisco beat writers. Where the fuck were they on this shit?

10 Tm Superflex PPR league.

I have a glut of WRs and need some RB help. Also interested in a young RB to get to use as a future keeper. Thinking of trying to pry Javonte Williams for one of my WRs. I have:

Tyreek
Keenan
Lamb
DJ Moore
Corey Davis
Antonio Brown
T Boyd
C Samuel

What do you think is a fair offer for him?

Lost by 1 point. He had Darren Waller.

My FF luck is so, so bad.

At least my entire team got through week 1 healthy. Last year by this time I had already lost my top 2 picks to significant injury.

AFter this week, Gronk has to move into my starting lineup ahead of Logan Thomas.

So now my flex options are the same as before + Logan Thomas.

Gonna give Julio another run. The entire Titans team looked awful.

but one more shitty performance and I'm going with Claypool.

12 TM PPR QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/reg flex

I have:

RB CMC, D Henderson, Ty'Son Williams, Mike Davis, Michael Carter
WR: Terry McLaurin, Sutton, Mooney, R Moore, Z Pascal, C Samuel

Was offered: Tee Higgins, Russell Gage
For: Henderson

Would you do that?

I feel like I'd rather piece together a second WR starter than give up RB depth this early in the year.
