Fantasy Football 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
1 for me, Goff may not be good but Detroit’s OLine is looking strong.

So you're asking if we'd rather keep Gibson or Kelce? Personally I'd say Kelce, but I'm admittedly lower on Gibson than consensus

Unless it's a dynasty league, the answer is objectively Kelce, and I say that as someone who loves Gibson for fantasy. Kelce is a cheat code at the TE position, and will be as long as his body holds up.

It's a keeper league but for all intents and purposes it's like a dynasty. I can keep either for the next 5 seasons (including this one).

I had a deal lined up for Davante Adams in a keeper league. I think I'm going to go for Ceedee Lamb instead at a much cheaper price. I could keep Lamb forever if I wanted to as our keeper level does not drop below 3 and there is no limit to the number of times a guy can be kept.

Most dynasty type rankings I have seen have Lamb pretty much a notch below where Adams is now.

The main difference is that Adams has proven it on the field. Lamb looked good last year, but we know for a fact that Adams is a star. With Lamb, we’re projecting.

Of course, you also get more potential elite years out of Lamb if he does fire. What would be the cost to get both guys?

I traded for Lamb in on dynasty league during our rookie draft. It cost me the 1.07, which was Najee Harris, and a 3rd. I think I also got a 5th back. I was totally fine paying that, especially in this league where the only players available are ones drafted from 2020 onward. I basically had nothing at WR and had Gibson on my team. Ended up getting Etienne at the end of the first too.

If you're confident in Dak's long-term health, I'd put Lamb pretty damn high in Dynasty rankings.

I also believe that Rodgers is finishing his career in Green Bay.

If I were in championship contention this year, I'd go with Adams. If I was still working on putting together a roster, I'd go with Lamb.

Is known vaccine status a factor in who you draft? Just saw a tweet about Kirk Cousins not getting vaccinated. Does that tip the scales if you are thinking about drafting Jefferson?

This is a very interesting question, that I hadn’t thought about until today. I acquired Cousins in dynasty this off season because of his weapons. I have to think this plays a role and could potentially cause JJ and Thielen to slip.

In my 10 team, 2QB PPR keeper league, I just traded for Tyreek Hill. We keep 4 guys who are slotted in rounds 1-4. I traded Antonio Gibson, an extra 10th I had this year from a previous trade, my 7th next year, and an extra 8th in 2023 I got from an earlier trade.

I now have the Mahomes/Hill and Prescott/Lamb stacks as my keepers and only gave up extra picks that I had in my store and a guy I wasn't going to keep anyway.

How do people feel about CEH this year?

He'll probably be on the board when I pick in the 5th round of my keeper league. Do you like him more than Swift?

Better offense and there's not really any major competition, so I'd take him over Swift.

In a redraft league, I'm taking Swift ahead of CEH.

I really like what Detroit is doing.

I also focus heavily on offensive lines more so than running backs. I really like the offensive line that Detroit is building.

I'd rather have Swift in dynasty but in redraft I think CEH is the obvious choice. The Chiefs invested in their offensive line, they're going to be a team that wins a lot of games (unlike Detroit, who is gonna suck), and there's basically zero competition for CEH in the RB room.

Swift is obviously the better talent, but I want opportunity. CEH is absolutely getting it this year and I think he's a steal at his current ADP, which overcorrected from how ridiculously high it was last year to being too low this year.

I keep going back and forth on those two. It's a keeper league, so I'd be able to keep them for at least the following 3 years at no cost if I wanted to.

I really like the idea of having Mahomes, Hill, and CEH and being a part of pretty much any offensive TD that high powered offense scores too.

On pure talent, I like Swift though, and I totally agree on the offensive line in Detroit. That's why I'm struggling so much.
