Farewell, Richard Jefferson.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I liked Griffin's approach ("win now" with LeBron), I just think he acted too impulsively at times and placed zero value on assets. If he was a bit more diligent we'd have had other avenues to improve the team. 2 1st-rounders for 1.5 years of Mozgov is a really tough pill to swallow, though I'd probably feel differently if we had won the title in '15. And the Miami 1st to consummate the Love trade...I just feel he let himself get taken advantage of too many times, and nowhere is that more emblematic than the TT/JR "negotiations".

Those trades didn't all work out 100%, but in some cases the reason they didn't work out was out of Griffin's control without access to a crystal ball. If Mozgov doesn't get hurt and keeps playing like he did right after the trade, he is a viable two way center and rim protector. Not being able to take advantage of the salary cap balloon the way Golden State did spoke to locking in veterans rather than a young core, The Love trade was a slam dunk, sorry. The use of hindsight as the only critique that a trade didn't work isn't a convincing one because nobody can tell the future. I'm always going to give a tie breaker to the "doer" over a hindsight critique, unless there is clear evidence beforehand that a mistake is being made. Hindsight criticism is just too easy.

For letting Delly walk because he knowingly overpaid a few other guys, that was a mistake in real time many of us saw right away.

I love @TitleTown and was making a good-gestured jibe...nothing malicious about any of that.

With the emails I field, I would leave them out of your schtick. It's off-putting especially for someone who can write well instead.

I encourage you all to tune into the NJ feed for this game and the next game.

Their post game is really damn good too...giving Sexton a ton of props, noting that the Nets got away with some bad calls/no-calls, and said "And on this play Collin got tired of shooting so he found Taurean in the corner"

Rich gives lots of love to the Cavs. Before the season started, he talked about when Rubio is back, this team is going to be even better. This team was 3rd last year in the East with Rubio before his injury and without Donovan then. He also talks about the leash lobs we do to our big guys which we saw a lot in Portland. With Rubio back, we should be able to get lots of easy buckets for our guys. Rich continues to give lots of love to Cleveland as this team is going to be more exciting.

I also wanted to dedicate Rich here because I can never forget this dunk on Christmas Day 6 yrs ago.

That's a great call from Mark Jackson: "It's great to see Mr. Jefferson is still moving on up."
