It's like clockwork. His game translates far better as a bench player. I don't know if I have THE reason as to why, but it just does. His energy, hustling style just seems to translate better when he's playing against back-up bigs.
On top of that, he gets into a rythym against backups and then starts frustrating the starters and can be very valuable down the stretch of playoff games.
He was almost completely invisible tonight against a team he should have feasted on. Stop putting him in the starting lineup already.
