Miguel Dilone. I remember seeing him play at the old stadium. Had one really good year, and then sucked.

How long you got?

I was a huge Alex Cole fan.

For those that don't know, he was supposed to be Kenny Lofton but couldn't hit at all... then the Indians promoted the real Kenny Lofton to the big leagues. I think he ended up bouncing around the league as a defensive specialist who stole bases.

This is exactly who I immediately thought of when I read the thread title.
Didn't he steal 5 bases in one game?

Edit: yes he did! Link: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/26048-alex-cole-tales-from-the-teepee

TBH I didn't recall Cole bouncing around the league for as long as he did (7 seasons in total , 2+ with CLE). Alex Cole was a poor mans version of Otis Nixon. Now that guy had longevity - 17 years. Up in 1983 w/ NY Yankees before coming CLE and Pat Corrales using him as late game speed to get the tying or go ahead run across the plate (especially in 1986). Nixon played thru 1999.

June 15th, 1978. Trading deadline. Mike Vail is sent packing to the Cubs, and the return Joe Wallis is flipped to the A's.

For The Gas Man, Gary Alexander.

He hit half of his career HR that season, and stood like a colossus astride the Major League strikeout leader board.

Fun fact: Alexander caught John Montefusco's no-hitter in 1976.

How is Cory Snyder seen in the annals of history? I started watching when it was him, Joe Carter, Alomar, Omar Vizquel era.
