For those that don't know, he was supposed to be Kenny Lofton but couldn't hit at all... then the Indians promoted the real Kenny Lofton to the big leagues. I think he ended up bouncing around the league as a defensive specialist who stole bases.
Who the fuk???Kazuhito Tadano
TBH I didn't recall Cole bouncing around the league for as long as he did (7 seasons in total , 2+ with CLE). Alex Cole was a poor mans version of Otis Nixon. Now that guy had longevity - 17 years. Up in 1983 w/ NY Yankees before coming CLE and Pat Corrales using him as late game speed to get the tying or go ahead run across the plate (especially in 1986). Nixon played thru 1999.How long you got?

Alvaro Espinoza routinely comes up whenever people ask me to name a random baseball player that is likely forgotten. Hes always the 1st guy.Ruben Amaro, Wayne Kirby, Alvaro Espinoza.
But we all remember him for that. Even his fellow bench player Candy Maldonado is likely less remembered.Alvaro Espinoza routinely comes up whenever people ask me to name a random baseball player that is likely forgotten. Hes always the 1st guy.
