Favorite player on the Indians, that actually sucked?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Chad Durbin is probably the worst pitcher the Indians have put on the mound in my lifetime, but I don't recall him having any fans :chuckle:

I think we all loved Jaret Wright at one point, and he turned out to be god awful for us.

Was that because he stunk or because he messed up his elbow though? To me, it was the latter. Man.. he was so awesome in 97.

Wright was a top prospect, but outside of his ‘97 playoff run, he was never really that good.

Even prior to his shoulder issues in ‘99 he was average at best.

So, yeah, he stunk because of his injury but he was still trending toward disappointing even before that.

Sad part is Jaret Wright via the rumors could have netted us a legit starter for a season/if not more, when he was a prospect/rookie

Colon and Wright was on the table for Pedro although I understand not wanting to trade your two top prospects (both top 25) for a single guaranteed season of Pedro.

This thread has been a blast to read, especially as we all suffer together with no baseball. One player that came to mind for me was Ricky Gutierrez. I remember him delivering a clutch hit in the season opener against the Angels in 2002, and thinking this dude was going to be the truth. He went on to produce a .671 OPS in 384 PAs that season. I was duped.

My "worst" pitcher was Albie Lopez. Every time he came in during the 90s little kid me would get upset.

Enrique Wilson.

He used to kill Pedro Martinez tho...

Oddly enough I own his 1997 American League Championship ring and a bat

How did you end up getting those
