They have pills for that...but just remember...if you're excited for more than 4 hours to immediately seek medical attention:

With all of the talk about Crawford. How about this three way trade:

Cleveland Gives up:

Larry Hughes
Drew Gooden
Ira Newble
Shannon Brown

Cleveland gets back
Mike Bibby
Jamal Crawford

Kings give up:
Mike Bibby
Kenny Thomas

Get Back:
Drew Gooden
Malik Rose
Jerome James

Knicks give up

Jamal Crawford
Malik Rose
Jerome James

Knicks get back

Larry Hughes
Kenny Thomas
Ira Newble
Shannon Brown

Knicks do it to lose two bad contracts and a player that is likes to score more than play defense(recognizing that starbucks is not going anywhere) and they get expiring good attitude guy Ira. Yeah they get back a bad contract in Kenny Thomas, but essentially he replaces Jerome James, so what is the downside?

Kings do it to load up on some bigs. Malik is about an even trade for thomas except he expires earlier, and Jerome is a true center body that the kings don't have (maybe they'll get lucky and Jerome will lay off the donuts. And gooden is a good fit for their squad.

We do it for the obvious reasons. Larry is exchanged for Bibby (true point for not a true point) and we can fill Larry's shoes defensively with Pavs or Devin Brown. We also get Jamal who actually is the scoring sixth man we wanted Larry to be.

Have to get productive minutes out of Donyell, Cedric and/or Dw for this to work.

I also saw where Isiah has ruled out adding big contracts like Hughes, but if he were able to get out of Jerome and Malik at the same time, he might just do it.

"Knicks do it to lose two bad contracts"

Yet, they get back Larry Hughes and Kenny Thomas :uhh:

He lost me right where he stated Jerome James was a "true center" the Kings dont have because apparently James is better then Brad Miller or Spencer Hawes their lottery pick from last draft.

I can hardly imagine a worse trade for the Kings... it's not even close either.

The last two years of Wally Sczerbiak's (Miami of Ohio) deal has been left out of the local list. His defense and passing have always been an eyesore, but he does shoot the rock. I'm not advocating him as a great player, but I have consistently heard that we want to get rid of some bad contracts by 2009.

I'd take him and one of their PG's (Ridnour, West or Watson) if it meant losing Hughes and just about any of our role players.

I heard there were talks with memphis about juan carlos navarro. But they want Av in the deal. Never now if we could do a gooden for navarro im down with that.

You left out at least three Zs from that name.

Many thanks to W&G for the insight. Sounds like this has the potential to be a pretty exciting few weeks.

I know Ferry hasn't done much recently, but I seem to remember Brian Windhorst saying during the summer to not be worried that Ferry wasn't active in the offseason, but to expect activity near the trading deadline. I guess we'll find out what, if anything, happens by around this time next month.

I love W&G's insight but I bet anything nothing ends up happening.

We're gonna get some stuff done, I think we'll be a much better team coming out of the break than we are now ....it doesn't take a superstar to make a team improve alot, it takes the right piece in the right spot ...I think some opportunities now exist that can get than done without compromising our future.

 We are all hoping you are right W&G!
