If the Browns take Allen, I will become an NFL cuckold. I'll sit and watch my preferred QBs score for another team.

I went Mayfield. My preference would be:

1. Mayfield
2. Rosen
3. Darnold

I do wonder how close this race actually is. It seems like ever since Darnold’s rainy pro day, it’s been non-stop with him at #1 (with the occasional Allen nonsense).

Again, I go back to Scot McCloughan, Dorsey’s friend and Draft consultant. I’m sure it’s not just him beating the drum for Mayfield in Berea. I’m fascinated to see what happens next week.

Like I said, I voted Mayfield for the reason I think... and just my opinion and not "who do I think the Browns will take".

Also I really believe the Browns hope to sit whoever they pick - and that is critically important for all the top 5, so I rate them:

1. Mayfield
2. Darnold - would me 100% ok with him. Good skills and seems like very solid character. Not overly concerned about the turnovers

then a large gap with Allen #3, again believing he will sit for the 1st year

then a smaller gap to Rosen #4 - I am more concerned with his injuries, and his attitude. Cannot argue with his ability, but the other two factors are very important in this level of investment.

And finally, a large gap to Jackson. I personally don't like the run first type QBs. In fact I would draft Rudolph before Jackson and I do think Rudolph will be drafted before him and in the first round.

Mayfield has suffered the same, or worse, number of concussions...

I just...I have no idea how you can be concerned with one and not the other.

if this poll was who do i think the browns will take, i would have to seriously consider mayfield. Right or wrong I think rosen is out of the running. I think their analytics department has mayfield (possibly by quite a bit), and the "football guys" have darnold and allen. the question will be how do they blend those things.

I’m surprised Mayfield only has 7 votes thus far.
Male it 8.

I'm a firm believer that Baker Mayfield is the best quarterback in this class and I would make him the pick for the Browns.

However, I believe the pick will ultimately be Sam Darnold number one overall. Just think it's the safe route, and he's so pretty good. It's not like he's far behind Mayfield either, he's right there at two for me.

Mayfield
Darnold
Rosen
Allen

That's how I rank them. Mayfield sitting one year under Taylor gives me hope. I hope the reports are true and the Browns don't know just yet what they wanna do.

But I believe their mind is set and locked in at Darnold at one.

Similar results so far to the Google poll I ded about 3 weeks ago. It surprised me how little love he got.

I honestly don't think Allen is going to be as bad as everybody in here thinks he is. I was high on him at #1 or #4 for a bit, but I've kind of fallen back on that. Don't think he's going to bust though, either, as long as he gets into a non-garbage situation.

I like Lamar Jackson a lot too. I kind of wish we had another slightly later pick in the first just so we could snag him and sit him behind Tyrod. They play similar styles and Taylor could help him adjust. I think Jackson has the highest ceiling of the bunch, crazy as it sounds.

Anyways, here's my list:
1a) Barrett
1b) Darnold
2) Mayfield
3) Jackson
4) Allen
5) Rosen
6) Rudolph

Really suprised Rosen equal with Darnold. If u take his slight frame(compared to Darnold) and maybe health issues out I would be all in. It just scares me to much but you never know about that and there is no control on it.

Im also surprised so many like Mayfield. To be a great you have a certain level of basic athletic ability. He seems to be ranked 5th on that compared to the other top QBs. I think he is good enough to start in NFL but I think his size and athletic ability will hinder him from being great.

Barrett?

So the JT in Barrett's name stands for Joe Thomas. (really it does)

I would draft JT in the 7th just to have Joe Thomas back on the practice squad for 2 years.
