This makes me feel like Arias will normally be the 2B but will play SS or 3B occasionally depending on the matchups and who is off that day...
But isn't the argument that the best fielder plays 2nd due to the shift enhancing the qualities and needs at that position (reason Gimi couldn't be moved)???? Just kidding ... I know it is due to his arm.

Well Arias is out best MIF defensively, but Schneeman is better about not causing errors so I am guessing that's the thought! Lol

I'm still curious who our last player is... I haven't seen anyone get released/DFA'D that make sense to go get... They are looking to make a trade before Thursday I am guessing since they haven't announced anyone yet...

Arias is our best nothing.

Quit it SC! He has everything to prove!

Ortiz seems to be struggling again (but the numbers we see will not tell whole story). In 2 inning, 1 ER (which is good), but 3 hits and 1 walk and 1 K on 40 pitches (count went way up in 1st inning). Arizona has also subbed 5 starters already; thus, Ortiz will look better going forward.

As for our bats, we are hitting against an NRI guy and only 1 hit in 2 innings.

Edit - 1 hit over 3 innings (a solo HR for Man)
