I really hope Ortiz’s ST doesn’t carry over to the regular season. Yuck

Looks like Ortiz learned to pitch from old videos of Fausto Carmona....

Truth be told.. this is a guy who's stuff is reliant on heavy air for his heavy sinking FB and solid/excellent defense.. He'll get plenty of both once he gets out of the desert and into the "steam"... There is no doubt, he has a major league arm.. and his pitches move all over the place.. That says.. more innings needed.. We'll see..

He clearly has MLB stuff. Once the season starts, hopefully he’ll catch a groove and the results will improve.
