With the Frye rumors, one of the few possible trades for the Cavs would be to pair Mozgov with one of our minimum guys and the Mike Miller exception. Probably Cunningham. This would allow Orlando to get Frye off their books, and have one less guy on going into next season. Mozgov/Cunningham are both UFAs at season's end.
With Mozgov going out, Cavs may target Dewayne Dedmon in return. I've always like Dedmon - I already mentioned him actually lol, I think Orlando should give him more playing time since he's their lone rim protector.
I started looking at some of the Synergy stats and was really surprised.
As the P&R roll man, he has a 68.2% field goal percentage, on 1.27 PPP (which is in the 91.9 percentile). Small sample size, but worth noting.
The majority of his defense situational #'s arent available from Synergy because 10 possessions are needed to qualify in each situation....
On post ups he allows 0.82 PPP which is 56th percentile, average.
Opponent field goal percentage at the rim with Dedmon as the defender is just 40.6% this season, 43.5% last year.
