Hello, this is my first post on this site. I was directed here by some other people and they told me this is the place to go for Cavs info.

Anyways, here is my offseason. And i think it is realisitc

1. Trade Wally and Snow to NJ for Vince Carter and Hassel(has a option). Getting Vince for a cheap package is smart, because it allows us to improve the rest of the roster with the rest of our contracts and Andy.

2.Trade Andy and a future pick to GS for Al Harrington

3.Trade Jones, Sasha and a future 1 to Charlotte for Raymond Felton and a 2

Lineup would be.

Pg-Felton, West(great backup PG)
Sg-Vince, Gibson, use MLE
Sf-Lebron, harrington
PF-Harrington, Smith, Jackson, hickson
C-Z, Wallace

This will get rid of the logjam of having to play andy at center too, so we use Ben only as the backup PF, and allow Harrington to play the SF when Lebron isnt in the game. Thats a decent rotation at the 4 with Jackson contributing more than Hickson i think in his first year.

Thoughts

Why would we need Felton if we have VC? We might as well trade West while we're at it because we'd be loaded in the guard position..

trade for felton to start at the point, then have west play where he should, off the bench

I think #1 and #2 are realistic.

I don't really think what you have going out in #3 would be enough to land Felton unfortunately.

Just because they picked Augustin doesn't mean they are going to give Felton away. Plus, they are way under the salary cap so they don't particularly need expiring contracts.
