Our developer will be working on RCF over the next few weeks. Things may look wonky at times, normal functions may not work or dissappear completely. It's the nature of the beast but we'll try to make sure this is painless as possible.
Are these new ratings set in stone (Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, Angry)? Any chance we can get the useful rating back... or are there other options maybe the community could vote on including/excluding?
Also, I see that our "reaction score" now only reflects previous likes received. If we previously received a bunch of positive "winner, funny, informative, etc" ratings, does that mean we won't have that reflected on our "reaction score" anymore, or is there a way to port them over? Just curious, as I know I gave out a ton of positive ratings other than just a "like" and think members should still get credit for these positive ratings, if it is technically possible with the new upgrade. I understand that technical limitations might make this impossible.
Is the goal for this re-design is to reduce this site's CPU/bandwidth usage?
Other than the annoying Like\Dislike thought police post rating system that has become trendy, I thought the old board was fantastic and made perfect use of the team's colors. In comparison, the new look is bland and generic -- a definite step back from the old look. Not a fan of the circle space for avatars either, since 99% of the photos people use are rectangular. Makes zero sense to do that.
