Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The quality of this site really went down the tubes the past few weeks, hopefully people can step their games up. Use punctuation, check before you start a thread and don't bicker like little kids.

It's annoying to sort through a dumpster full of bad posts to find the few meaningful ones.

If i had to hear another noob say " My dad works for the cavs, he told me whats going on... LOLOLOL JKJK" i was going to pistol whip him.

I share your pain :chuckles: , thanks karma this was really needed

I hope I don't get banned I really love this site.

Uh oh. I usually have bad punctiation and stuff, i hope i dont get on the site tomorrow and it says "You have been banned from RCF" or whatever its supposed to. Though i think i only posted around 4 times in the Amare thread.

So if you find any shitty things i posted, my bad man. Please dont tayze me bro!

Advice for the noobs. I have a simple rule whenever I post:

Before I press the "post" button, I ask myself, "Is there any chance that someone will give me reputation or a 'thanks' for this post?"

If the answer is no, then I don't post. I think it's a good rule of thumb.

Now, I get it that everyone may not think that my comments are as witty as I do. But when I post, it always goes through my mind - is there at least a chance that someone will appreciate this comment, or find it informative? If not, then I don't post.

In other words, try to be a reputation whore. For the overall quality of the site, this is a good thing. The flip side of that is, give out thanks or rep to other people when it's deserved, but only when it's deserved.

Oh, and I have one other rule-of-thumb for this forum as well: it is always, under every circumstance, appropriate to make a comment that insults Carlos Boozer. Always.

Thanks is all out of wack since the offseason. Back in the day (like 6 months ago) to get 30 thanks in one post you had to either be W&G or post something absolutely amazing. Now you get 30 for posting a link to an article. :chuckles: It takes several hours to make a game thread and your lucky to get 20-25 thanks. Never understood that one. Everyone that views a game thread should be thanking it IMO, people just don't appreciate the time it takes.

I'm going to thank this post in the hopes that everyone else starts thanking it. Then, you'll get 30 thanks for making the statement that "back in my day, 30 thanks used to mean something." :chuckles:

I blame a prolonged bout of unemployment as well as my work at home phase. I was on the site so much, I think a portion of my DNA got embeded in the HTML code. They pretty much had to let me in.

Thanking is overrated...

I never look at the main game thread. I could do with cavs vs pistons and be fine.

A a game later, no one looks at the main thread to see the pictures.

I agree actually, some people get thanked on stuff they shouldnt, but I dis agree with split on one thing about the thanking people for article links. If its an important article, ie windhorst stating delonte is going to play, I think it deserves thanks. I say thins, because i come here to not only discuss the cavs, but get my cavs news as I dont live in ne ohio or have the time or desire to comb over the internet. What I also appreciate are such well thought out statistical threads like Camakazee's stats of the night or some the thought out posts by someone like the Wuck. Many of the old time posters such as You, Karma, Me, etc do add alot in the discussion, but I love the direction some of the people take it by making links or taking the time to make a well thought out thread. For all these reason I enjoy are thanking system.

As for me, I like to tell jokes, and sometimes I probably get more thanks than the quality of the post deserves. But, I dont take the time like some of the better posters do on here to really add much value to this sight....and for that I am extremely thankful.

I'm just wondering that if this a Cavs forum, why is always random threads running around? 6 year old soccer kid, Oscar picks, need I go on. This site should be for fans posting there opinion about the Cavs, not that other stuff.
