Looks like John Wall is being paid to stay home while the Rockets try to trade him...

But players aren't asked to stay home and get paid. Only the toxic Cavs do that...

We literally did just this with drummond. Both player and team decided the player didn't fit in the teams longterm plans, so they sat out the player to minimize injury risk and negotiate something down the road.

Difference is everyone loves Hou and loves to rag on the Cavs. And no one interviewed Draymond about it

The owners really have let things go nuts.

What is the point of contracts?

They need to reassert themselves during the next CBA session.

It is absurd to being pay so much, with guaranteed contracts, and seeing guys repeatedly not only demand trades, but hamstring their own teams with specific team demands.

Someone either has to come down hard on a player or start getting super cheap with contract, or putting a real performance and good faith clause in contracts.
