ESPN.com's John Clayton reports Cleveland Browns FS Brodney Pool, a second-round draft choice, will jump right in as a starter for the Browns.

now does that mean crocker will be strong side?

he was saying in his interview that he played both at ou. great versatility. secondary will be young but they'll be a lot faster than griff and can tackle a lot better as well.

on a side note he is not the official starter as we type. he will compete for the job, he is the front runner.

I never thought he'd be a starter, but i'm surprised someone would label him an immediate starter. Well, he is the best safety in the draft though.

I'm kinda hoping Sean Jones if healthy is the Strong Side starter.

All I heard about him last year was he was flying around the football field and always around the ball!
