G.S vs Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: 2-11 G.S vs Cleveland

Some random thoughts

LeBron never looked for a single shot in the 4th. He looked like he was either exhausted, or just quit.

Z was absent. Terrible. Awful.

Gooden was worse.

Sasha cannot stay in games long enough to matter. Nobody was guarding Graham. It was 4 on five.

GS was the best clutch team in the world tonight. They NEVER missed when we closed to within one. I counted. They did NOT miss a single shot.

The defensive 2.9 second BS is an abysmal failure. Scrap it. The team cannot execute it. Wrong personnel. Do something different. While they're at it, try running PLAYS. There is no excuse for dribbling the clock to 8 seconds on every possession.

Other than that, all is well.

Drew Gooden has been just foul the past couple weeks. We need a point guard very badly. Ever trip down our worst enemy is the shot clock. Too slow to initiate offense, we apear to run like 2 plays, then we go and play crappy defense on the other end.

Re: 2-11 G.S vs Cleveland

We played like a team that's just lost a Larry Hughes. This is definitely testing our mental toughness. Sasha and Drew blew chunks! We didn't stick with any part of our game plan besides establishing Z, we totally played at their pace. Their passing took apart our defensive "rotations" and they just hit shots. Richardson, Dunleavy flat-out owned us.

Can anyone replace Hughes' passing ability? Our offense with Lebron at PG is so lame...stand around and watch Lebron.

Thats what you get with Gooden. When he's off, he's terrible. If its any consolation, every bar in the Bay area was playing this game... his peeps will be ringing his cell all week.

Re: 2-11 G.S vs Cleveland

Another lazy effort. That's inexcusable at this point in the season for a team with high playoff aspirations.

LeBron did disappear in the 4th. It was odd because his shot was going really well earlier.

I don't think Z had that bad a game. His shot was way off but he contributed in other areas.
Perimeter defense on this team still sucks. It has been a problem all season even when the supposed good defenders Hughes and Snow were starting together. I'm not sure if the problem is more effort, defensive scheme or personnel. It is obvious that quickness on the perimeter has to be upgraded before next season.

Graham made more of an impact in his 12 minutes tonight than Sasha has the last 2 games. Sasha seems to be reverting back to his old ways where he drifts around and makes little contribution--besides getting in foul trouble. He's got to pick it up and become more active like he has been since starting.

I don't know what to expect from this team anymore. They seem to be consistently inconsistent. Not a good time for the world champs to be coming to town.

every team hits lulls like this. just a bad reg season loss that befuddles the bettors.

we are still all good. Lebron is an allstar. we'll make the playoffs and can win a round and maybe compete in the second round. this will encourage Lebron to resign, which is our short term goal.

there is still hope. this is not the same late season collapse as last year. we'll be better when the finger man returns.
