Game #2-Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens-September 15th, 2013 1:00 p.m. EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He can't make a play when he's upright either.

I dunno, I thought I saw him make a couple of good throws.

But really, there isn't much of a difference. Honestly, I hope we totally blow if this is what we have in store for us. In a league with exciting and fresh offense, our team has a slow QB who needs everything to be perfect for the team to succeed. And everyone was so pissed when Heckert was let go, yet he built this team like it was 1997.

Remember all those articles this off season talking about how the Browns offense would be aggressive and explosive? Me neither. This team has so many holes on offense that it could take a few years to fix.

BTW, the Phil Dawson complainers can suck a dick.

I just wish we didn't need a solid kicker.

On 4th and 7 with six minutes left
Wut.

Didn't realize it was 7 yards to go at the time, I thought it was closer. But I am losing interest to say the least. It really is a disgrace.

I mean, as long as we are going to play that game, the guy we missed on was Tannehill.
The guy we missed out on was RGIII, but yeah we missed Tannehill too and Russell Wilson and maybe even EJ Manuel this year.

We may have the best run defense in the NFL.

Josh Gordon coming back next week, just in time for Weeden to hurt his thumb. I hope it's not too bad, because we dont have anyone better. Tanking the season is not acceptable at this point. Not all good Qbs are found in the top 3 anyway. In fact, everyone in our division took a Probowl Qb later (Dalton 35, Flacco 18, Rapist 11). I'm not interested in the team giving up just to get another Qb, hindering development and bringing in a shitty attitude. There's no Andrew Luck, this year. Teddy Bridgewater is not even as good as people are giving him credit for. I think we all understand that what we have at Qb right now is not working, but we need someone to keep things relatively intact until we can find a better alternative.

Phillip Rivers looks like a new man without Norv.

The offense did move the ball a little. It's definitely not the worst thing we've ever seen. Gordon changes things immensely, provided someone can still get him the ball. I hope he's happy with himself. His absence has been devastating.

TRich has shown flashes that he's good. Without other threats, the defense just takes him away. He's obviously not AP or even close. He's looking for some sort of big college play that doesn't exist against a team like the Ravens. Someone needs to tell him to take the 3yds they give you and if you're still standing after they hit you, then show what you can do, if not just make sure you fall forward. He's not getting any help out there either though. He needs blocking and he needs the passing game to do something.

Speaking of blocking. Cousins is a whipping boy. He's making everyone around him worse. You can hope everyone on your line can block 1-on-1. Only guys like JT can, and he's not perfect either. Everyone else has to operate as a unit just to delay the rush. Your RG is almost never a good pass blocker, but he's supposed to get squeezed in and operate well in limited space and because they're normally very good run blockers you have to take pause at going after them. Cousins should never even be asked to start games inside. Maybe he's an emergency tackle for a game. Not a starter on the outside, he's a hindrance on the inside even in an emergency capacity. The front office has been derelict in their duties by not finding someone to come in until Lauvao comes back. Pinkston and Lauvao never that good in the first place. Trying to make a trade, and not succeeding, is not good enough. If Gilkey is just absolutely not ready, they've got to got to bring in someone.

So far, Billy C. has done a fabulous job at filling in for our all-time leading scorer. Our offense hasn't skipped a beat!

TANK. Just PLEASE fucking tank. I can't take this anymore.

Anyone defending Weeden is just grasping at straws. The argument that no one is open is getting old. There's a such thing as throwing your receiver open. There's a such thing as calling for a hot route when you're staring into the face of an all out blitz.

Weeden is just not a starting QB. EJ Manuel would be 2-0 with this team right now. Ryan Tannehill would be 2-0 with this team right now. Terrelle Pryor would be 2-0 with this team right now. RG3 (who has sucked so far this season) would be 2-0 with this team right now. Jake Locker/Christian Ponder/Alex Smith...they would all be 2-0 with this team right now.

Good news? Teddy Bridgewater will be better than all those guys in the above paragraph. So let's just go get him and stop fucking around.

God damnit I am aggravated.

Everyone says we have no continuity. Bullshit.

At least we have been really consistent at being below mediocre.

Christian Ponder would all be 2-0 with this team right now
I was nodding my head in agreement until you said this.

As bad as Weeden has been, I wouldn't want Christian Ponder.

I'm all for going Bobcats and tanking though. Give me Johnny football or Bridgewater.

:chuckles: Johnny Football?

Come on now...I'd rather have Weeden.
