Game #2-Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens-September 15th, 2013 1:00 p.m. EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Manziel will be the next the next Eric Crouch.

Book it.

Manziel has great speed, arm strength and excellent pocket awareness. And while he looks short he is taller than Drew Brees and Russel Wilson. His height and weight are comparable to Vick/RG3 and he still has a few more years of growth left. I dont see him being a flop in the NFL.

If Cincy can goto the playoffs with Dalton, We sure can atleast be 8-8 with Weeden. The difference in the QB level between the two is not that vast.

His arm strength is suspect, his mechanics are horrendous. He throws roughly 20 percent of his passes from his back foot.

He gets away with alot in college, his scrambling ability and ability to control the pocket allow that. In the NFL? He'll get absolutely worked.

Vick and RGIII are bad comparisons because they're on another planet athletically, Brees and Wilson are bad examples because their arm strength and mechanics are in a different league.

Great college player, but there are 7-8 quarterbacks who should be taken over him at the next level. You cant just throw it up over man coverage in the NFL, as he did yesterday.

Give me Johnny football or Bridgewater.

Manziel would drive me away completely. I'd go back to my 90's roots and root for the 49ers again.

Terrible QB who gets away with bullshit plays in college. He'd get murdered in the NFL.

and........Peter King just said that the Browns are scouting Manziel. Dear Lord, please don't make the fans even more miserable.

They're probably doing their homework on all the high profile college QBs this season. Nothing wrong with that, especially when they realize the plethora of options available that are better than Manziel.

My theory is, scout the only player you want.

If he is not available come draft night, just wing it.

TANK. Just PLEASE fucking tank. I can't take this anymore.

Anyone defending Weeden is just grasping at straws. The argument that no one is open is getting old. There's a such thing as throwing your receiver open. There's a such thing as calling for a hot route when you're staring into the face of an all out blitz.

Weeden is just not a starting QB. EJ Manuel would be 2-0 with this team right now. Ryan Tannehill would be 2-0 with this team right now. Terrelle Pryor would be 2-0 with this team right now. RG3 (who has sucked so far this season) would be 2-0 with this team right now. Jake Locker/Christian Ponder/Alex Smith...they would all be 2-0 with this team right now.

Good news? Teddy Bridgewater will be better than all those guys in the above paragraph. So let's just go get him and stop fucking around.

God damnit I am aggravated.

You are aggravated, and I get it. But I have to do something. Christian Ponder might be the worst starter in the league. He'd still have this team 0-2. He's got Minnesota 0-2, and they've got OBVIOUSLY better skill position players around him. He's just the worst.

Manziel will be the next the next Eric Crouch.

Book it.

No. Eric Crouch was an option QB who ran far more than he threw. Johnny Manziel has thrown more yards in a season and 3 games than Crouch did in 4 years. Like, there was no question that Eric Crouch could not be an NFL qb. I don't even think he tried. I don't know how good he will be, but this comparison is bad. Manziel will, 100% be drafted as a QB by someone, and probably within the first two rounds.

I believe you are forgetting Mr. Blaine Gabbert. He's basically the poster boy for suck.

The Indians outscored the Browns 3 out of 4 times against the White Sox.
