Actually, Farmar is VERY important to the Lakers Rotation. He is the Lakers ONLY back up PG and he runs the style of their second unit very well. Another reason Farmar is so valuable to the Lakers is becuase he can effectively split minutes with Fisher. This is important becuase Fisher aint young, and the way LA sees it he will need his legs/veteran experience/clutch shooting come playoff time.
Big Z is so important to the Cavs, but please, you put him on Bynum and what you have is a stalemate. The only thing that Z will do with Bynum on him is hit his nice midrange shot, pull Bynum out of the paint a tad more because of that mid range J, and provide O-boards. Sideshow Bob is a much more capabale defender than Z, hence the stalemate. Even with Z the Cavs have no one to put on Gasol. As much as Big Ben can bang and play, the dude is not going to be able to defend Gasol when he's confident.
Kobe injured his ring finger on his shooting hand 2 minutes into the first quarter, popped it back into place, and proceeded to bottle up LeBron. Don't let your objective bias get in the way. Kobe denied LeBron the ball all night while LA packed the paint, forcing LeBron to stay outside.
Refs. It was a physical game with a lot of no calls. The refs made it clear the way they were going to call the game and the Lakers adjusted. The reffing was consistent the whole way through with what they were calling and not calling. Actually, the Cavs shot more FT than the Lakers did. So when you all sit there and complain about the calls, all it does it make you look like an ignorant cry baby.
Sad to say, but even with Z healthy the Lakers will still have a giant advantage in the paint.
