The big momentum changer was really the weak offensive fouls on Shaq, game wasn't the same after that.

Those fouls only backed up my beliefs that Tim Donaghy was only the tip of the iceberg.

Wow, I turned the game off after LBJ made that SICK three pointer to give you guys a 4 point. I never learn that whole games are never over till their over cliche. SMH @ Sloan for single covering Lebron when he was absolutely DOMINATING that little fucker guarding him. Fucking sick last few minutes by LBJ.

You seem to fuck up like that a lot

Re: Game 41 | Turnovers @ Utah | January 14, 2010 | 10:30 EST

A loss is a loss, by 1 or by 20.

Cavs has this coming for them. They really haven't played a complete and focused game since the Lakers game honestly.

Lebron coasts, and the team follows. When Mo struggles shooting, his floor game and defense disappear together, he is no 2nd option sorry. Parker & Z's fts cost this game, but they are servicible for what they bring, so in the long run means very little. Hickson is just playing the minutes, the Cavs literally has no starting PF.

On top of all of that, this team rarely gets moltivated, they play down to the opponent, they play to the score, they play to C's and Laker's record., they almost never play to perfect what they want to do on the court. I must say, this Cavs team is driving me a little mad, as i think at this point, I am so amazed by what they can do and the versatility they show when they turn it on. And with the half the season gone by, I must say, i think i have only saw probably less than 4 -5 games that they gave all out effort for 48mins. I saw at LEAST 15 - 20 games where they gave close to ZERO effort, and the rest, they only play a hlaf or a qtr of good sound basketball.

Having said that, they are 30-11 and the way the Lakers and Celts schedule line up the rest of the way, the Cav is really in a surprisingly good position despite all the bad play. However, i am really facing the dilemna of rooting for a team that rarely plays hard, that's just not right for me. I want to see them start playing harder.

In anycase, i am very ok with this loss. There rarely are good loss in a season, but this is one of them. They had it coming, they have been just playing too casual, too lazy, too arrogant, too entitled. In anycase, the "focus" issue has been the main problem so far, and what really is worrisome is that 1) it is so obviously led by Lebron. and 2) it has not improved, not even a little bit.

Also, Mo Williams is not the guy you want to take up the load when lebron is having bad day.

I think we're going to have to face reality eventually and just accept that Mo Williams isn't as good as we thought he was. No, this is not reactionary just to this game, he's just not reliable. Some days he's great, other days he's garbage. If Gibson would have played Mo's minutes we would have won by 10.

Mo shooting around 30% in the last four games, 44% FG this season is a bit lower than I'd hoped for.

yea i hate mo right now...boobie needs some burn

Damn...I didn't even notice that thanks. Hmph. Well I guess there's a first for everything.

Except you making a useful post.

Re: Game 41 | Turnovers @ Utah | January 14, 2010 | 10:30 EST

I hate to say it but typical fucking Cleveland. We play like shit for most of the second half only to have Lebron bail us out late in the game and then we find a way to piss it away. I know this sounds awful but I would have rather just had us get routed instead of just getting our hopes up to have them crushed. I almost ripped the wifebeater I'm wearing now in half.

What was going on in coach Brown's head? Why have Lebron inbound? Plus I don't think he was playing up of the inbounder on the last play. Luckily it's just one game but it's still a microcosm of our inconsistency this season.

I know we shouldnt complain after a loss and act like its the end of the world, and maybe this is just the gut reaction. This isnt the same team that went into this trip. Mo Williams got left in Cleveland, AP is back in time to the beginning of the season when he was making 3's. Gibson got left back in some city, i havent seen him in a while. If we dont make some moves, we wont be going far in the playoffs.

I'm a mess...

I'm shaking, I'm mad, I'm trying to be reasonable, I keep refreshing the thread like something is gonna fucking change about the game.

I'm gonna go jump off a cliff.

I follow what you're saying, but didn't the Cavs just have an unfocused loss in Denver (minus Melo) and an unfocused loss at home vs. Charlotte?

This was a game they should have won, then should have lost, then should have won late (esp. with Williams and Kirilenko down), and then choked away.

I'm not sure what they're learning, or when they're going to put it into action, when it comes to unfocused losses.

He was siiiiiiick. He couldn't do anything about his teammates' FTs (he should've got them) and he couldn't really play D on the last play. Sloan had some GREAT coaching though.

Re: Game 41 | Turnovers @ Utah | January 14, 2010 | 10:30 EST

Z was also horrible out there, 0-4 1ft... Shaq couldn't get it going either after a quick start with the Mo dishes... He really should start oing glass more. Also AV got called for travel on his Pseudo Hakeem Post Move, which wasn't called a travel the other day and right fully so because he's pivoting after stopping a dribble which if I remember correctly is allowed unless someone is trying to keep a game close....
