Game 42| Chicago Bulls (24-17)(1 pending) at Cleveland (30-11) 1/23/16 @ 8:30

Again, same problem as last year. Bench is terrible and can't show up when the starters don't have it. They made no effort to fix it in the offseason. They better do it at the trade deadline.

They tried to fix it. It just didn't work. They brought in shooters who can't play defense, so you can't leave them out on the floor. In hindsight, Mo and RJ should have been defenders, if such guys were available. And we paid $82 million for a PF who can't shoot or defend. So we need a big who can defend, since Moz has also been a liability out there, too.

olynyk sucks

i want budding star wing player, Jae Crowder and Amir Johnson

we would still need picks from them to go find a stretch 4.....

We would to fly JR to Boston in Gilbert's private jet, and track that flight, to verify that he and Crowder had a secret meeting where they kissed and made up.

It has been a intense and emotional 36 hours for this team.

Not saying that excuses such an awful shooting night, but, it did have an impact. Coaching changes, like having a superior fired at work (or having a commander relieved of command), has a pretty serious effect on folks even if the boss was disliked.

Looking forward to a win on Monday.

we got lucky snagging moz. can't see it happening again. teams don't give away bigs that can defend

Serious doubt creeping in. Finger pointing due to Spurs and Warriors paranoia panic coach firing.

Supposedly the players thought Love was traded instead of the coach being fired. Tells you something, but I am not sure what.

2 stories. Griffin fired Blatt because the guys weren't amped up enough after wins. Wasn't reaching the guys.

Or Lebron never trusted Blatt scrapped his offense and led a revolt that ended in him bring fired.

Then the hearsay was that Blatt said to a friend last week, "Its either me or Kevin Love."

We are all reeling and trying to connect the dots, but those are the high points.
I wonder if you guys don't just need to get a big win against the Spurs or Thunder or something to get the confidence going and everything will fall into place. There is too much talent on your team to play like you did tonight or against GS. Is Lebron perhaps coasting and waiting for the playoffs? I also think Irving is a bit behind right now because of the injury and will find his rhythm in about a month or so. I don't know, from an outsiders perspective I would say that right now the problem is your star players are not playing like stars.

Sorry guys, I was out celebrating our new coach all night and missed the game. Were we far more connected.

I guess we just continued spanking the Eastern Conference like we were before, but you know, just more connected?

Wait till we win a game. Under the new regime we will party much harder after wins. Just like the old Phoenix Suns.

The worst thing about this loss isn't even the loss itself. It's that it most likely begins the media's inevitable Chicago Bulls hype machine that happens every year.

You are indeed right on that. The main problems on this team begin and end with LeBron, because he has so much power on how things are run around here. He deservedly should get most of the credit when things are going well, but he deserves an equal amount of the blame too.

The GS game really broke this team mentally, I think everybody on the squad is now realizing they are not as good as they thought they were compared to the real juggernauts of the NBA.
combine that with the fact that we have no offensive system whatsoever & nobody has a clue on what they're suppose to do on offense and its starting to look like a disaster right now.
Bingo man. I think realizing they are not as good as SAS/GSW took the wind out. If the goal is a championship you can't get excited over regular season wins over Milwaukee and Atlanta. It's like there is nothing to play for now. Even if you get to the finals,if a healthy SA or GS awaits we are doomed.

I think while you are right, however it also took them seeing a team get better after a title year. This team thought they could pull the same old tricks and still be great. Keep in mind SA could still be the team in the finals. It seems Lue is trying to play in the middle of them... If that makes sense to you. Otherwise this has to know when to slow down and speed up. To face very different teams. If not for S.A being a powerhouse this year things might have been different.

Well I didn't only focus on Kyrie and Love not being available in the finals. I looked at Warriors entire bracket with suspicion. I knew from the get go there is no such thing as "we got the NBA title figured out" unless you are in the middle of historic domination run a-la Jordan and early Celtics teams. You can't on the one hand say GSW avoided healthy OKC,benefited from Clips eliminating SA and choking and think they might not repeat as WC champs then forget that those teams are coming back with vengeance and one of them might be a serious match up problem. It just happened that the Warriors also came back with vengeance as everyone outside Bay Area put a question mark on their title path. This was pretty predictable shit. It boils down to Kyrie and Love not being the guys they need to be. The Love-TT duo << Aldridge. Kyrie won't be able to handle either Steph or Parker when the chips are down. It is fucked up.And you fire a dude who might have made himself Lebron's bitch but at least can help game/series plan. They are 30-11 and any jolt you get from Lue is rubbish unless he figures out GS/SAS. It is just fucked
