Did anyone else catch Fred stating last night that Ferry claims Boobie is the Cavs best perimeter defender?

Whoever thought up the domain name and was involved in the lease of that domain is a dumb ass. Think of ALL the many websites out there who have profanity filters for words such as "sex", etc, who cannot/will not show the domain and site simply because it has the word sex in it? Many forums even filter out that word... even words within a big word like a domain. I'll bet you could not post that domain in the cavfanatic forums without the word being X'd out of it.

I was gonna post something about this but decided to let it go, honestly I think Boobie has played much better these last two games, he has even made some very nice passes, but best perimeter defender? Ferry must have already traded Delonte in his mind when he said this.

Just ignore everything Fred says. It's tough when such an annoying voice is screaming at you, I know, but I've learned to ignore it over the years.

While our best perimeter defender is obviously Delonte, I really really still like the effort that Mo and Boobie give on the defensive end.

For the record, I've never seen a better 1/4- 1/2 court defender than Boobie. He really gives em hell back there. :chuckles:

Yup, for sure, there is a CVS literally 2 minutes from my apartment so I peaced my feverish, hacking, coughing, fatigued ass over there and grabbed some. Definitely helped. OSU needs to get with the program though, half the profs threaten you with dropped grades if you dont show up, yet there is apparently some memo telling anyone with flu symptoms to stay home.

Dude, tell me about it... they send out mass emails urging students that don't feel well to stay in... well what if I don't feel well but I don't go to the doctor? You don't always need to go to a doctor, sometimes bed rest is the best medicine.


But if I don't go waste my money at the doctor, then I don't get a note and my absence is unexcused.


And when the hell are we getting the H1N1 vaccine? I keep hearing about OSU getting it, but I've yet to see it or hear back from those people about it.

Listen, stoike, it's painfully obvious Boobie has all the tools to be a very important player. He struggled early and has been phenomenal since, hence the word FRUSTRATING.

So, where exactly was he struggling?

The only games you would even have a case for were when he went 1-3 in the opener but only played 14 minutes and took only 3 shots

or the Charlotte game, where, again, he only played 15 minutes and again, only took 3 shots.

I'll jump on the bandwagon if he sticks to what he's been doing in the 2nd half.. Not try to drive

So you chastise him for not trying to improve his game, but then do the same when he actually does go to the hole and get there, only to miss?

Who cares if he gets to the rim & misses? Just the fact that he's getting to the basket with confidence and w/out turning the ball over is a huge improvement for him. With more confidence in getting to the rack, he'll start to make those. He didn't have any turnovers, so what's the harm?

Newsflash people:

Boobie's been pretty consistent this season, like it or not..

He's 12-23 from 3's, only has 5 turnovers the entire season, has 6 steals, is getting to the rim with more confidence, playing a lot better defense, and is making better decisions with the ball in his hands.

It's really time to get over filling the game threads with the "Boobie sucks - bench his ass" worthless posts.
