Any word on Leon Powe's status? I know him and Mo were practicing.

I wasn't expecting Mo back until the Celtics game anyways, signs look good.

Antawn needs time on the bench to learn some dance moves and goosey ;)

Another note is I am pretty sure Gorge Karl will not be coaching, he has cancer and is taking a leave...

Anyone knows if Antawn will be at least on the bench near the guys? Or will he be watching the game from somewhere else?

Probably in Gilberts courtside seats, or in a suit with Mo and maybe Powe.

Hope so. It will be great to have him bond with the guys from the start.

Funny to see the gameday thread has only 37 post 6 hours before the game. LOL

Preview from Windhorst

CLEVELAND -- Pre-game from The Q:

Projected starting lineups

Denver: Chauncey Billups, Arron Afflalo, Carmelo Anthony, Kenyon Marton, Nene

Cavs: Daniel Gibson, Anthony Parker, LeBron James, J.J. Hickson, Shaquille O'Neal

Officials

Monty McCutchen, James Capers, Mark Lindsay

• Antawn Jamison likely will not be cleared to play, the trade is still being finalized in Washington and Los Angeles. Mo Williams is also out. Leon Powe is probably not going to play. Renaldo Balkman is out for the Nuggets with a back injury.

• This is a rather large game. The Nuggets are a team that has a chance to win the West. They have beaten the Lakers twice already this season. No, they aren't the favorite, but they are a top five or six team in the league.

• Cavs have won 18 of 20, two losses were to Denver and Utah. The only team the Cavs have played and not defeated this season besides the Nuggets is the Celtics. The Nuggets did it without Anthony that night, too. The Nuggets are very successful when they run and push the tempo. The Cavs, at times, have poor transition defense and turn the ball over a lot. Keeping this under control is vital.

• Will be interesting to watch tonight whether there is any hangover effect for either team. Neither has played in a week. The Cavs just made a major trade and lost one of their best teammates. The Nuggets are playing after learning the news that coach George Karl has throat cancer. Jamison will be behind the bench. Oscar Robertson and Jerry West are being honored during the game. Going to be a wild night at The Q.

Powe probably not playing again? This situation is really starting to get on my nerves.

He said in interviews he feels 100%. We're just being cautious ..

I am a bit nervous for this game, do we come out lackidasical or firing on all cylinders because Melo is playing?

Does this team get pumped from the Jamison move are does the streak end tonight?

Being cautious now isn't going to do good anyways. We're going to have a really wicked logjam in the PF spot not seen since some dude posted something about pooping a huge log. The Cavs need to evaluate their talent now while the primary PF is still not playing.

I'm very curious how both teams will be emotionally tonight..the Nuggets could be very high after the news about Karl..the Cavs could be very methodical...business like..

We've got a tough couple of games coming. I hope we can pull this one out.
