Game 57|Cavaliers @ Orlando|February 21, 2010|1:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I will say that despite his piss poor performance in the fourth, without Lebron we would have gotten blown out by halftime.

I think its time to start Mo, Delonte, Shaq, Jamison, and Lebron.....I think Delonte needs to get some more consistent touches with the first team. Just too many rotations right now...so much hesitation.

Up 5 on Orl still in the East.

Cavs just need to get this thing back on track.

Well, at least we know Jamison has shaken off his nervousness.

After they get a view more practices in and also a home game, I think this team will start to click. By the time Z gets back, we should be rolling again.

If Mr. Potatohead can figure out how to use the immense amount of talent we have on this team, we'll win the championship. As of right now I'm not liking our chances.

Mike Brown finding the right way to use this team is like a blind kid solving a rubix cube.

If it happens, it's by coincidence, not because he knew what the hell he was doing.

There were some bad calls, but this game should have been ours. We missed scoring from our backcourt. Integrating Mo and Delonte back is just as hard as getting Jamison going.

The lineup they didn't play that was absolutely devastating last time was

Lebron
Moon
Jawad
Andy
Shaq

You can plug Jamison in there and we would have won this game.

I am scared, even though lebron may not be focused, we need another option to step up, it's been our damn problem forever, and he will leave if someone doesn't step up.

Did you watch the same game as me? Tawn and Shaq stepped up more than any second option on the Magic tonight, and it's not their fault that they couldn't play in the fourth because of the refs.

People blaming LeBron need to be more vocal. I'm doing my best to blame Mike Brown but you guys should speak up too.

LBJ is a great player in the first 40 minutes of the game. He's one of if not the best defensive player in the last 8 minutes of a game. But he is the dumbest piece of shit when it comes to crunch-time offense. Things start working when we move the ball and take smart shots, and he just throws that out the window because crunch-time is "superstar spotlight" time.

I'm amazed at how often basketball minds talk up LeBron as if he has the highest bball IQ in the league. For most of the game this may be true, but when it counts (or the 30 seconds after he hits ONE three) his brain becomes a brick.

His defense one on one isn't that great. He gets beat off the dribble way too easily.
He is slow on help. He never boxes out.

He tends to watch too much defensively. But he'll turn it up for a highlight block.

I agree. This team needs to be playing its best basketball going into the playoffs, and if that means some struggles right now, then so be it. We went from Jamison coming off of the bench to start the game, to him playing with the starters after half time.

Exactly... I'd rather be a hot 2 or 3 seed than a coasting 1 seed... (See last year)

Ganted I want to be the overall 1 seed, But I'll take a rough stretch now as long as we are gelling and getting hot later...

The one positive that I can take from this loss is good luck to teams trying to help on Shaq when Antawn is in the game.

I'd rather see Redz at PG, and Moon at SG with Mo as the sixth man off the bench. His lack of defense has hurt us numerous times. Plus you don't have to worry about getting Mo his shots with that starting unit, and instead he can be the focal point of the offense when he comes in off the bench like Jason Terry.

Brown and the ENTIRE coaching staff is to blame for not knowing how to manage players, rotations, and talent. It's all nice if the rotation and talent level is for 8 or nine players as the Cavs did/do just fine. With more like we have now, this team will never win much of anything in the playoffs. Brown has no idea what to do and when. If we remember; Mo hit a three in the third quarter for his first made shot. Guess what?... Mo was taken out RIGHT AFTER he made that shot. YOU DO NOT DO THAT if you are a coach. You just don't. Not right. Not right in high school. Not right in college. Damn sure not right in the NBA.

Good coaching wins games. Knowing how to manage star players as a coach wins big games. Brown cannot manage LeBron, let alone manage four all stars we have right now. Who should be shooting the threes in the last few minutes? This game, NOT LeBron. Parker hit a three then didn't get the ball back to shoot after that. You don't go up by five points and start shooting bricks for threes. You just don't. The defensive matchups in the last quarter were pathetic. Rotations and when to substitute was the most ridiculous display of ineptitude I've ever seen. Van Gundy wipes Brown's ass at coaching.

I'm at a loss for what to do about this mess that has been created. One thing I do know; Jamison needs to be on the floor with Shaq and LeBron, which means he needs to start. NOW.

If I see Lebron throw up another 3 when we are down by 3 or more with 30 seconds left imma fucking slash my wrists and sell my butthole.

so fucking annoying...

This. I hate that sh*t. And what's worse is when you have been watching LBJ play for so long you KNOW it's coming. Hate it when he does that.

That and those damn heat-checks need to go.

Gibson and Jawad need to be phased out of the rotation.

Moon and West are the backcourt bench.

JJ/Powe and AV are frontcourt bench.

Gibson and Jawad should only play if foul trouble causes Mike to need a 10th man.

Well, ok, but Brown needs to get his head out of his ass and figure out a rotation.

Period.

If you are a guard on this team you have no freaking idea what your role is.
