Game 59 | Cavs (35-23) @ Spurs (35-25) | February 25, 2017 | 3:30 pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just don't understand how a coach can watch his team go on like a 0-14 spell, do absolutely nothing, then call a timeout, make no changes AT ALL, keep sinking and still make no changes until it's time to clear the bench.

Why? Why not make LITERALLY ANY CHANGE? The lineup is not working! Change ANYTHING you fucking clown. Take LeBron out, put Moondog in. I don't care! FUCKING DO SOMETHING.

This shit killed me about Mike Brown as well: call a TO and don't make a lineup change? Takes away about 1/2 the real power of having a TO available

It was too much of an over correction to the on court problems of the team. We will never really know if Wade was a problem off the court for the team. We had a solid second unit, completely blowing it up was a mistake. I understand moving Frye but Wade was the guy who ran the unit and I think 99% of us would agree that he was the biggest reason it was so good.

The 2nd unit wasn't good since December, man.

Wade didn't wanna be here. He wasn't "all in".

It was the right move. Can you imagine having ANOTHER guy here, who needs minutes? Who's redundant with Clarkson? Who pushes Hood out of position?

Just a disaster waiting to happen.

Man, I didn't see the game live, recorded it and just got home to watch it. I didn't want to know the score but found it out. How the fuck did we lose this one. WTF! Now I don't even want to watch it.
I seen the box score, Hill & JR 2 pts. huh? Don't tell me anything, here we go again fkin losin when we should be winning.

You guys are romanticizing Wade running the 2nd against bad teams. Clarkson has been killing bad 2nd units too. The Spurs just happen to always have an elite 2nd unit.

Against all the good teams Wade was like Clarkson except with way more long twos, worse defense, etc. He turned the ball over all the time. He didn't play D except for highlights and late in games. The 2nd unit falling apart was just as much on Wade being bad.

I'll take Wade late in a game over Clarkson everyday of the week... I like Jordan but experience helps and Wade is a MUCH better playmaker in the half court than Jordan...it is what it is...not a knock on Clarkson and Jordan could even play off a Wade...games like tonight when JR and Korver aren't shooting well they are worthless and our experienced options are very limited

Korver really doesn't have much of a place on this "new" Cavs...maybe spot minutes but he's too slow to keep up with the 2nd unit

I agree it would be hard for another guy who needs minutes. It's most likely just an over reaction on my part to tonight. The second unit does need Hill in there though to smooth out Clarkson when he becomes streaky. It's time for Lue to sit Korver and let the minutes for the new guys go up so they can form good chemistry for the playoffs.

I always felt Korver should be the odd man out when Love comes back. I just don't see how he fits in positionally now. We have better two way players.

This game was a Botchamania episode.

That's true, but we can't keep surrounding LeBron with four guys who can't shoot.

This one is on Lue, but I dare you to watch this game again and from the first series we did not move bodies or the ball on offense. This should be addressed by the coach in practice, but we don't do that.
Nance 15 minutes - UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

This is one of the few losses this year where I felt like good LeBron showed up. He played a great game, gave great effort. Everyone else was awful or didn't get a chance to help us win. I've spent the last year defending Lue, can't do it anymore.

Other teams can score when they aren’t lighting it up from 3; why not us?
Probably because they have multiple facilitators from the perimeter, players who can consistently create for themselves or others —front court players with either A. Low post scoring ability or B. Low post passing ability to generate offense from the inside-out and perhaps they’re elite rebounding and/or elite defensive teams that can get out in transition consistently?

The Cavs have LeBron.. And several guys who can be jack of all trades but master of none... Except Tristan— he’s mastered the art of an overpaid sucking blueberry fuck-muffin

4 of our 5 starters totaled 14 points on 6-28 shooting and 0-10 on 3 pointers. Not going to win many (any?) games that way.

Smith is Smith, always hot or cold, but Cedi and Hill have to start making shots and scoring points because, well, besides LeBron that only leaves TT.

I think we should move towards starting 4 different guys. Our most productive backcourt, next to Bron, is Clarkson and Hood. Our most productive bigs, next to Bron, are Green and Nance. I might even start Zizic over Green, for shits and giggles, because he’s an actual center.

Hill-JR-Korver-Cedi-TT/Zizic is a kick-ass bench, tho!
