Game 66 | Cavaliers @ 76ers | March 12th, 2009 | 7:00 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The defense is a problem right now, and it's mostly because of Mo and JJ. Once the opposing PG penetrates, the whole court is open for him. And Brand abused whoever was guarding him. I just hope the Cavs can finish out the regular season with some consistency, so it won't be as much of a transition when Shaq returns.

What's Fred McLeod's criteria for "healthy"?

:chuckles:

I get upset because Delonte scored 17, a lot of that in the paint, and he never gets foul calls. He is a little guy and gets hammered. Everyone always wonders why Mo doesn't penetrate much.

We played bad defense in the first half but in reality the 76ers played really aggressive. Like most bad to mediocre teams they can't sustain it for 48minutes. Hence, the Cavs who didn't play particular well except for one benefited. The one area where the Cavs played well is shooting the basketball. They shot the ball well overall (51%) despite shooting 32% on 32!!! 3pointers.

Whats alarming is that nobody could really guard Iggy. We didn't try Delonte until the 4th which was strange. Luckily, he does what he does and shoot bad shots and we didn't need to guard him anymore, he guarded himself.

First time in awhile that I felt Mo and Delonte both had good offensive games. Delonte didn't do much in the 2nd half but thats when Mo did his thing. It would be nice to see both of them both playing well offensively at the same time within a game.

Andy again showed why he is a big intangible much like Delonte is our small intangible. Good game by him and i can't believe he got called on that foul when he got elbowed in his face. lol

Be happy Cavs fans, we just won on the road against a 76ers team at full strength where Iggy and Brand had one of their best games of the season. We won without any big men really except for JJ.

All I got to say is that Boston better watch out, LeBron's gonna come out with a chip on his shoulder after his "off" game....which to many players is a great game.:chuckles:

I am about to rewatch this game to see just where we sucked on offense.

And people whined when I said getting Brand and Iguodala wouldn't be a bad thing...

One game won't change my mind, even though I agree with the idea of getting Iguodala.

Yet he was as much a part of them being in the game as them losing the game. He has some bad shots when they needed him to be a playmaker. Where was Iggy? Iggy would be a great upgrade over say Moon on the Cavs... but we would have to change philosophies especially on offense if he would be a bigger part of the team. It would be Larry Hughes all over again at least until we could get some chemistry going. Getting Iggy in the offseason makes more sense though I don't think its possible now.
