Injury update: West (back) is questionable for the Knicks game. The team may want him to sit out another day or two to make sure the problem doesn't linger after another hit.
"We'll see how I feel after some treatment," said West, who missed Friday's game after taking a hard fall Thursday in Phoenix. "I'm going to spend some time in the hot tub."

Knicks carry confidence into visit with LeBron James and Cavaliers

CLEVELAND - LeBron James scoring 51 points against the Sacramento Kings on Friday was the warmup act. Just imagine what he could have in store for the Knicks Sunday night.
"Anything that anybody does in this league, he can do it better," Larry Hughes says. "He's just that good."
Hughes was not with the Knicks the last time James flexed his muscles and had the Garden buzzing. That was Feb.4, the night James scored 52 points and left town believing he had recorded a triple-double. The following day, however, the NBA determined that James had fallen one rebound shy of that milestone.
The ruling wasn't much consolation for the Knicks, who have already lost three times to the Cavs this season. But the Knicks believe they are a better team now, having won three straight road games and forcing their way into the thick of the playoff race.
They've caught some major breaks along the way, defeating Milwaukee, which was without Andrew Bogut and Michael Redd; beating Detroit, which was missing Rasheed Wallace and Allen Iverson; and on Friday, surviving against a Minnesota team that didn't have its two best players, Al Jefferson and Randy Foye. And while it may be stretching it a bit to say the Knicks are getting Cleveland at the right time, especially when the Cavs are 28-1 at home, the Cavs are coming home off a West Coast trip, will be playing their third game in four nights and went to overtime against the Kings.
The game, of course, means more to the Knicks, who are looking at the final regular-season meeting with Cleveland as a possible first-round playoff preview. With 17 games left on their schedule, the Knicks (28-37) are in position to take over eighth place in the East. If the Knicks qualify, they could be in Cleveland for Game1 of the playoffs in five weeks. "It doesn't matter if it's Cleveland, Boston or Orlando," Mike D'Antoni said. "Our focus is to get into the playoffs. What these guys have been through the last two or three years, to me this is their championship run."
Sunday night, the Knicks are expected to again be without starting point guard Chris Duhon, who missed Friday's game with a sore lower back. His replacement, Nate Robinson, scored 25 points against the Timberwolves despite suffering from a stomach virus. David Lee has a sprained right knee but still recorded a double-double.
"We have a sense of urgency," said Hughes, who was traded to the Knicks on Feb.19. "I wasn't there for the other games (against Cleveland) but this locker room is more upbeat since when I first got here."
D'Antoni's defensive strategy against James will be to crowd the paint and force him to take outside shots. Wilson Chandler should spend plenty of time chasing James and Hughes will also get a chance to guard his former teammate. The Knicks are hoping that Cleveland is worn down from the West Coast.
Hughes simplified things even further.
"One loss for them," he said, "will not mean as much as a win for us."
I'm going to post this although I have no idea if anyone will care, but what the heck.... I just over thirty. I grew up in the Akron area (Summit County). One of the great joys I had were going to Cavs and the Force (old school, MISL - when Darth Vadar used to come out before each game, before George Lucas cried copyright infringement ). I went to quite a few Cavs games during my childhood during the Price-Dougherty era at the old Colsiuem ... I loved how they played even at a young age, but even so, they couldn't hold a candle to the current Cavs roster. I witnessed (in person) The Shot I, the Shot II, and Jordan's 69 point explosion (reg. season). My thought Lebron (anti-Jordan) has been sent to right those years to Cleveland fans when we had our heart ripped out right in front of us(while it is still beating) and stomped on.
For some of you, you don't know any different, but I can't explain the pain I've experience during my childhood watching the Cavs. I mean, the best teams I saw never won a divsion let alone a #1 seed in the East....
To make a long story short, enjoy ever minute (and every home game left) this is truely the best Cavs season I've ever seen in my lifetime (certanly since the late 80's and the early 90's) .
Just thought I'd post/vent.
Thought I'd share even though it ain't worth a hill of beans.
